After going through the community rules, it helped me to understand what i have been believed about species is true. I don't like spices and i don't add them in my food's. Instead of species's, i prefer curry leaf's or cent leaf's. Those natural remedies is my favorite spice. Beans 🫘 has its own natural taste though i don't eat it often. But always eat it whenever am hungry for it. Today, while i was contemplating on what to eat, i remembered beans 🫘. Wow!! It's been a while i shouted. So, i went to a nearby store to get two cups of beans just for me and my daughter.
Ingredients-:
Beans 2 cups
Fresh tomatoes 4 seeds
Onions 1 full
Palm oil
Cent leaf's
Fresh pepper
Salt/water
*The step's
First thing i deed was to select the good 🫘 beans out from the spoiled one's and other unwanted substances.
After that, i poured the beans inside pot, add water, set up the fire in my cylinder put the pot on top and allow the beans to boil for 5 minutes.
Then, i bring it down. Pour the beans inside sieve and rinsed with a neath water to remove preservatives from the beans. After that, i returned the beans back in the pot. Put a new water and started the proper cooking.
Beans do take time to done. So, while it was boiling. I washed all the vegetables together two times adding salt to the first wash only in other to remove sands and dirt's.
Next was to slices all to my desired taste.
After slicing all, i checked the beans pressing them with my fingers. First time i checked it was still strong and this second time, it's soft.
I added salt to it for taste including the palm oil and cover it for a while to steam properly.
Now, it's about drying out the water, i poured the sliced cent leaf and fresh pepper inside the beans and stirred up properly.
Few minutes, i added the the fresh tomatoes 🍅 and onions to it. And all was mixed properly.
I reserved some fresh tomatoes and onions for garnishing the food after cooking. I love eating those things raw and immediately i served the food in a plate i used it to garnish the food.
The food is ready let's eat
Hi @chichieze
