Spicy Oyster Mushroom Sambal | Plant-based Cooking Challenge, Weekend #30.

Oyster mushroom is one of the mushrooms that can be consumed as daily food, this plant is widely traded in the market or supermarket. The characteristics of this mushroom have a white color and have a semicircular hood and the center is slightly concave.

Consuming oyster mushrooms is indeed very good for the health of the body, it is able to ward off free radicals, maintain heart health, prevent diabetes, prevent cancer, treat infections in the respiratory tract and maintain bone health. Because it is rich in high nutrients, this plant is one of the most sought after plants by humans.

But on this occasion I will process the oyster mushroom plant into a food that I cook very tasty and delicious, the food is spicy chili oyster mushroom. This food is one of the most popular, its spicy taste and thunderous mushroom taste make this food always sought after as a friend to eat rice.

Here's how to process oyster mushroom plants into these foods.

First we prepare the ingredients that will be used in the process of processing spicy chili oyster mushroom food, as for the ingredients that I use are as follows:

Ingredients.
Oyster mushrooms as needed.
Red chili as needed.
Cayenne pepper as needed.
Red onion as needed.
Garlic as needed.
Tomatoes as needed.
Sugar to taste.
Brown sugar to taste.
Salt to taste.
Sweet soy sauce to taste.
Terasi enough.
Powder broth to taste.
Vegetable oil to taste.
Enough water.

The next step is to first wash the spices using water until clean, then the spices are mashed into cooking spices, ingredients such as red chili, cayenne pepper, garlic, onion, shrimp paste, and tomatoes. Puree can use a blender or manual millstone, add salt along with sugar and brown sugar to taste then puree the ingredients.

Processing into food.
Next, heat the vegetable oil in a cooking pan using medium heat, fry the oyster mushrooms that have been washed before until half cooked. Then drain and let stand for a moment so that the oyster mushrooms are completely dry from the vegetable oil.

For the next step, stir-fry the cooked spices that have been mixed earlier until cooked, stir until evenly distributed so that the seasoning really happens. Then enter the shrimp paste and powdered broth and stir until evenly distributed, add enough water so that the spices do not burn.

For the next step, enter the oyster mushrooms into the cooking pot and stir together with the cooking spices, stir until evenly distributed so that the spices seep into the oyster mushrooms, pour enough sweet soy sauce and stir continuously until cooked and the cooking process is complete.

If it is cooked, serve the spicy oyster mushroom chili sauce to the food container to be served on the dining table, enjoy the food with your family at home.

Yes and I will, but without the spices. I am not very good with spices- even the TINIEST amount makes my mouth explode...😳
