Detox Day with smoothie - Plant-Based

How are things going for you? I hope everything is going well.
I'll share three other green smoothie recipes I made for today for a detox.
My guideline is 50 percent fruits and 50 percent vegetables to ensure that everything tastes great! Don't worry, a green smoothie isn't that difficult to imagine, and it appears to be one of the finest and quickest ways to incorporate green energy into your life.
I enjoy smoothies so much that I bought a mini/cup blender to take with me when I travel. To me, the most wonderful thing that a hotel where I choose to stay is a smoothie and a vegetable buffet to welcome a new day.

If I do 90 percent healthy diets all the time, then 10 percent junk food will just make up for it:) Because I'd be extremely sad if I went out and didn't enjoy everything to the maximum, and parties generally provide delicious BBQ, beefsteak, pizza, and seafoods. aww, how can I not fall for those every now and then? :) but it's just another story.

And sometimes, after a big party, why not detox? Here's the smoothie detox I always do. The recipes normally depend on my mood and I am happy to welcome the pinkish and green tones for today.
Let's have a look at how happy I am with these vibrant colors and tastes for one day's detox :)

Ofcouse try to make it at least 500ml for each and you can also make it 5 portions for a day if you are hungry! :) Or just add some nuts for your snacks during the day. Don't overeat nuts, they can make you gain weight.

Thanks for readingggg!

You've definitely go some interesting combinations there!

I thought that my daily fruit, veggie and chocolate combos were different!

The spinach, pineapple, banana and peanut butter one has got me intrigued. I ussualy have my peanut butter and banana with chocolate and that is delicious, but peanut butter and pinapple...whoa....I can't wait to try that! 😃

Hahah right. I couldnt immagine how they went together but the combination with the dominant taste of banana and spinach, peanut butter is just the right ingredient!! :))))

Well you inspired me!

I put a flowerette of frozen Cauliflower, a finger of frozen carrot, a dash of Silverbeet (kinda spinach...), a banana, peanut butter and my homemade chocolate sauce in mine this morning- it is so thick- there's like 3 meals in there, but so delicious and healthy!

Woow I love frozen veggies, They are cold and thick :)))) like icecream :)

Yes but they are fresh veggies that I froze, not the weird tasting frozen veggies that you can buy in the supermarket...and I know that makes a huge difference too.

It was actually my new osteopath that suggested I put frozen cauliflower in my daily fruit chcoolate smoothies and so I thought why not add carrot and something green too, so I put the caulis in with yellow fruit (pineapple/Bananas/Apples), carrots in the orange fruit, like mandarins, mango..and the green spinach in my berry smoothies and the fruit with enough chcolate, I can't taste them which is great cause I don't really like the taste of veggies- raw or cooked... but I do love to eat them and now if I can drink them every morning, well, like is perfect then! 😃

Hahah sure they are. I don't buy those frozen fruits from supermarket either. They don't smell good as I put them out for a little bit. I also freeze avocado and banana on occasion because I enjoy the cool, fresh, and ice creamy flavour they provide to my smoothie. I'll do Cocoa powder tomorrow as well:) I bet your combo will be delicious, with banana and peanut butter:) It sounds like a delicious chocolate chip frappe with milk froth, yet it's so much better for my stomach. Haha (and brain, too)

The only frozen fruits I buy is berries and mango, otherwise I buy them all fresh, shop them up and put them in the freezer

The chocolate sauce that I make is not a processed one- they are way too full of bad sugars, so I make my own with raw cocoa powder, a touch of raw sugar and boiling water to mix it, then let it cool and keep it in the fridge.

It's still quite bitter as I don't need to add to much raw sugar to it cause the fruit makes it sweet.

I hope that you enjoy it the new recipe! 😋
