kept stirring to avoid burning.
I added 1/2 cup of water, covered it, and cooked it for about 3 to 4 minutes.
after 4 minutes it is like this.
Discarded bay leaves.
Added 1/2 cup water again and cooked it until the beans got soft.
it is ready .
Making roti
This is a special iron pan for making roti.
In sorghum flour added 2-3 pinches of salt and mixed it thoroughly
Added boiling water to the flour (for 2 cups of flour 1 cup little less or more water.)
Mix the flour and water using a wooden spatula.
Used some extra 2-3 tsp water to make a nice soft dough,
Took a small portion of dough and started round-shaping roti.
Clapping in both hand palms make a roti as thin as possible.
Placed it on a hot pan and sprinkled some cold water on top.
and flipped it
Flip one more time to make it puff up.
And it is puffed-up. Nice soft crispy roti is ready.
Ready to eat now.
thank you very much.
