Hello, community and fellow vegan lovers! Today's post is my small contribution to @qurator's photoquest. The theme is STEAM, which I see every day in my kitchen as part of my cooking activities.

While I was preparing my khichadi and lal bhaji for dinner, I noticed steam blasting from the pressure cooker. I thought this would make a great entry for this theme!

After the third and fourth steam blasts, switch off the heat and allow it to cool.

Remove the pot from the cooker.

20250213_142050.jpg
Stir it while warm and steamy and serve.

20250213_181926.jpg
I serv3ed it with healthy red spinach or Lal-Bhaji.
which is rich in iron and calcium.
Ingredients:
20250213_183849.jpg
20250213_181744.jpg
around 300 grams.red spinach
1 garlic bulb
1 white onion
1/2 green chili
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp any cooking oil.

20250213_183802.jpg
Warm the oil in an iron skillet add onion, chili, and garlic and stir until onion becomes translucent.

20250213_184028.jpg
Add chopped red spinach.

20250213_184639.jpg
Stir it with onion and add salt.

20250213_184711.jpg

Keep stirring continuously for about 2 minutes, cover, and cook for 2 more minutes. The red spinach releases water, so do not add water; it will cook in its own steam.

20250213_141741.jpg
after 2 minutes close the gas heat and remove it in the bowl.
steamy warm is ready for serving.
