The sun is gradually settling and i no idea what's for dinner. I have been in the garden listening to cool mind blowing music. What should i do for dinner? I asked myself. Potatoes will do, let's do it. Since it can be prepared in different ways of one's choice.
In Nigeria sweet potatoes and carrots are at it's peak a wise reason to make use the opportunity properly without delay. Though carrots can preserveed for future purpose use but i can say the same for potatoes. This tuber is mostly come from the north to the south of Nigeria and it's most affordable if compared to other tubers.
Eating it often is something that must be done to take advantage of the season harvest.
Fried Sweet Potatoes in Soy sauce
Ingredients
- 600g of sweet potatoes
- 1 sachet of vegetable oil of choice
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 small ball of onion
- 2 medium size of fresh tomatoes
- 1 small size of carrot
- 1 tablespoon of soy
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 small ginger
- 3 pieces of green and red fresh pepper
- 1 cube of seasoning
Step 1*
Peel the potatoes, cut into sizes of choice, wash it sprinkle a little on it and set it aside.
Step 2
Proceed to chopping of the other ingredients that needs to be done. The onion, carrot, garlic, ginger, and the fresh pepper.
Step 3
Put the pot on fire and add the vegetable oil once it's heated pour in the potatoes and fry it's done to your choice and scoop it out.
Step 4
In same pot that has been made used of already add salt, remember it's hot already and doesn't need to be heated. Add the onion, garlic, ginger and carrot stir for few minutes and add the already sliced fresh tomatoes and pepper stir well and allow the tomatoes to dry a little, keep adjusting with salt to taste. Finally add a tablespoon of soy and pour in the dried potatoes, then stir together to mix well with all the vegetables.
Dishing it out to cool off and then satisfy my taste bud with this salivating meal prepared.
