My party jollof pasta.

in Plant Power (Vegan)2 days ago (edited)

My work had encroached to my time for lunch little did i observed it. All my energy was channelled to get the work done and submitting it, no wonder i was losing concentration. Looked at my time it was passed mid day. What should i prepare? This question kept running through my mind. I remembered some groceries was in the house.
So i jumped out of my working table to go prepare a party jollof pasta even the i prefer it in another method.

Pasta is a fast food that is less time consuming and much ingredients aren't needed for it. I have all most the things i need at home so i started without delay.

Party jollof Pasta

Ingredients

  • 500g of premium pasta of choice
  • 1 medium size of carrot
  • 10 pieces of fresh green peas
  • 1 sachet of tomato paste
  • 1 ball of medium onion
  • 1 pair of seasoning cubes
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 3 pieces of yellow fresh pepper
  • 1 sachet of 40ml vegetable oil of choice

Step 1
Slice all the ingredients that should be sliced; the onion, carrot and green peas.
Pound my pepper roughly and break my pasta into desired length.

Step 2
Put a pot of water on fire and add a little salt then pour in the pasta to the already boiling water to parboil it for some minutes.

Step 3

After few minutes i brought it down, wash and set aside then in another pot pour in the vegetable oil, add onion, paste tomato and fry for two minutes then add my pasta and stir fry, introduce a little water add salt, the seasoning cube as well as the roughly pounded pepper, cover and cook in a low heat so it won't burn much if it have to. I didn't forget to adjust with salt to get the taste that i desire.

After 10 minutes check and pour in the veggies I have. Stir together and yeah!! It's ready

This was how i made my party jollof pasta so fast. I don't mind you joining me. It's ready.

After enjoying my lunch i went back to what i was doing and never did i loose concentration until i got done and submitted it. Lunch is important. Infact no meal should be missed.
