Rice, Carrot and Green Sauce

Holla friends! Vegan love to you all. I want to share with you another recipe with Amaranth greens. This time it's a green sauce which can be eaten with rice, yams and even swallow. I complimented the greens with very sweet and juicy carrots, tomatoes and onions. Trust me, it's so delicious, you can give it a try maybe with a smaller portion first for a trial.

The following are list of ingredients used in preparing this grean sauce meal. Follow my step by step procedure for making the meal accurately.

INGREDIENTS
4 cups rice
4 hot peppers
1 large onion
21/2 tablespoon salt
1 cooking spoons soy oil
600g Amaranth greens
4 fresh tomatoes
2 carrots
1 teaspoon mix spices
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon chili sauce
Water

COOKING PROCESS

STEP 1
Transfer rice to a bigger bowl, wash and cook for 25 minutes, add 2 tablespoons of salt and 5 large cups of water. Drain and set aside when thoroughly cooked.

STEP 2
Prepare ingredients like pepper, vegetables and onions, wash and blend tomatoes and onions. Pluck vegetables from stem, wash with salt and slice vegetable.

STEP 3
Scrape carrots, wash and cut to desired shapes and sizes. I cut mine into cube sizes.

STEP 4
Time to bring all our ingredients together to make the sauce. Add 1 cooking spoon soy oil into a clean pot, add chopped onions allow to fry then go in with blended mix, salt, spices and allow to fry for 8 to 10 minutes.

STEP 5
When tomatoes is fried, add carrots and sliced Amaranth greens after 3 minutes. Add 1 tablespoons of soy sauce and chili sauce, stir all together and cook for 1 minute. Our sauce is ready!
