Chickpeas Pancake Recipe.

Hello, Namaste! How are you all? I hope you are doing well. I am also good. Today, I am going to share with you the recipe for a chana dal snack that tastes delicious and can also be packed in your children's lunch boxes. My son loves these pancakes and often asks me to make them for him because he enjoys them. I believe your children will love them too.

So, let's learn how to make them. Here are the ingredients we need:

Ingredients✅

  1. About one cup of soaked chana dal (split chickpeas) soaked for about three to four hours
  2. Coriander leaves
  3. 1 onion
  4. 2 green chilies
  5. Oil for cooking
  6. Salt to taste

I'm making this for two children, so I've taken about 100 grams of dal and soaked it for about two hours to make a smooth paste. If you already have soaked dal, you can make it in about 10 minutes.

Method✅

  1. First, we will make the paste. Be careful not to make it too thin or too thick. Take a jar, add the soaked chana dal, coriander leaves, and green chilies, and grind them into a paste.
  1. After making the paste, add salt to taste.

  1. Chop some coriander leaves, one green chili, and one onion finely.
  1. Now, heat a pan and lightly grease it with oil. Pour the batter and spread it evenly. Add the chopped onion, green chili, and coriander leaves on top, and cover it with a lid. You can make three to four small pancakes in one pan.

  1. Once one side is well-cooked, flip it to cook the other side on a low flame.

  1. Look, I've cooked it well on both sides. My snack is ready to be served with tomato ketchup.

I hope you all liked this snack recipe. For more delicious and quick snacks, please follow and upvote. Thank you for your love and support.🇮🇳🙏🙏

Namaste! That Chickpeas Pancake recipe sounds delicious and perfect for lunch boxes. Can't wait to try it!😍

Absolutely, make it and let me know how you like it!

Looks yummy! What if we use Gram Flour instead of soaked Chana Dal, result will be same?

The taste of gram flour won't be the same as that of soaked chana dal. Dal has a unique flavor. You can try making it with dal first and then with gram flour to see the difference in taste.
