Mi Pequeño Árbol

Un grato saludo amigos de la comunidad de Plant Power (Vegan) soy nueva y no quería dejar de expresarme por el venidero Día Mundial del Árbol, dado la importancia de la celebración y el buen tema escogido por ustedes, todos los árboles en nuestro medio ambiente son importantes, ellos oxigenan el aire que respiramos y nos proporcionan alimento, además de medicina y materia prima, de igual manera proveen alimento, a otras especies que comen sus frutos y cuando sus semillas caen a la tierra dan vida y se multiplican otras plantas, un ciclo normal de la naturaleza, donde cada género tiene su rol, con su singular belleza adornan nuestros espacios y nos dan sombra, siembra un árbol y el actuara contra el cambio climático.

Le tengo especial estima a un tipo de Acacia, que fue creciendo entre mis plantas, a menudo cuido mis plantas y no dejo que le crezca monte en su tierra, cierto día, cuando revise uno de mis materos, me encuentro que está creciendo una planta que no conocía, a medida que se fue desarrollando, me encariñe con ella por lo diferente de sus hojas y porque fue tomando la forma de un árbol tipo bonsái, su tronco comenzó a ramificarse y a sus ramas, le comenzaron a salir muchas púas, desde entonces con mucho cuidado, lo trasplante en otro matero.

Una vez que me enteré de que era una Acacia, comencé a buscar los árboles que hay en los alrededores de mi comunidad y he notado que son árboles muy altos y frondosos, que florean cuando están en su temporada, sus flores son amarillas, desearía ver mi árbol enano con flores. Tiene sus propias defensas cuando lo azota mucho el frío se desoja y después vuelve a reponerse.

Su nombre científico es: Acacia Sp, Vachellia farnesiana. Su nombre común es Acacia Mimosa, Acacia de la India, existen muchos tipos o variedad, esta planta, se caracteriza por ser espinosa. Me motivé a investigar sobre la Acacia, en los años de su nacimiento, pude aprender desde entonces que existen muchas especies. Del árbol de Acacia, los aserraderos utilizan su madera, otras especies botan una goma que es la goma arábiga procesada, también les extraen sus aceites esenciales, lo procesan para hacer fragancias y le sacan provecho a su aroma para realizar bálsamos con sus flores.

The care that I have given it has made it last so long, you can say that it is my pet.

Mi árbol, lo aprecio y valoro porque creció en mis plantas, para mí es muy hermoso, tiene una particularidad que sus hojas se recogen a esos de las seis de la tarde, aquí en Venezuela le llaman dormidera y al día siguiente vuelve a extender sus hojas. Los cuidados que le he dado, han logrado que dure tanto tiempo, se puede decir que es mi mascota.

Bienvenida a la comunidad vegana y al concurso, gracias por participar en él.

Me ha sorprendido gratamente tu participación, realmente tu post es muy hermoso, se nota el amor, el mimo, el cuidado que le tienes a tu árbol, realmente es algo muy bonito ver cómo lo cuidas y el vínculo que has establecido con él.

No sabía que a este árbol se le decía acacia. Yo había conocido otros distintos con ese nombre, por eso siempre insisto en la importancia del nombre científico, porque es el que refleja su identidad. A esta sí la conozco por dormidera, y ahora por el nombre científico que nos has ofrecido: Acacia Sp, Vachellia farnesiana y ya entiendo por qué se le dice acacia. En ocasiones he visto crecer en el solar a algunas pequeñitas,(supongo que algún pajarito trae las semillas consigo y nacen en el suelo), pero luego se desaparecen, no sé si es que los morrocoyes se las comen.

Tu post es precioso, las fotos están estupendas, y el texto es tan auténtico, tan sentido, tan bonito, que realmente me ha parecido una súper entrada.
