Greetings my friends, I hope you are well, the weekend is approaching, so it's time to make a sweet recipe to enjoy during these days, although at home sweet recipes don't last long haha, today I'm sharing some delicious ones Chocolate and hazelnut cookies, vegan, the combination of chocolate and hazelnut is a total success, the flavor is exquisite, and on these holidays, here in Venezuela, hazelnuts are part of the foods that We usually eat, or use in recipes, especially desserts, we start with the recipe.

Chocolate and hazelnut cookies, vegan


Ingredients:

  • 50 g of wheat flour.

  • 5 g of cocoa powder.

  • 1 tablespoon of flaxseed or flax, ground, I didn't have ground, so I used what I had, in grains.

  • 3 and 1/2 Tablespoons of water, for the flaxseed.

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder.

  • 100 g of 70% dark chocolate preferably.

  • 40 gr of white sugar.

  • 40 gr of brown sugar.

  • 40 g of toasted hazelnuts.

  • 40 gr of vegetable butter.

  • A pinch of salt.

  • Coarse salt (Optional).


Preparation:

1- In a bowl, make a mixture of flaxseed and water, this will help the consistency of our cookies, let it rest for a few minutes.


2- On the other hand, we melt the butter and chocolate in a double boiler, stir well, when they are completely melted, remove from the heat and set aside.


3- In a bowl we add the flaxseed and water mixture, and we add the two types of sugar, we mix with an electric mixer, then we add the chocolate and butter mixture, we continue mixing until everything is well integrated.

4- In another bowl we add the flour, cocoa, baking powder and a pinch of salt, mix well, and add to the previous bowl, integrating everything very well with the mixer.

5- Finally, we add the hazelnuts, which I cut into pieces, we integrate everything with the help of a spatula, we put it in the refrigerator and let it cool for approximately 40 minutes or 1 hour or until we see that the dough is firm.


6- After the time has passed, we add the dough and form the balls, and place them in the preheated oven for approximately 12 minutes.


7- After the time has passed, we remove from the oven, serve and let it rest for 30 minutes, so that the cookies compact a little more. Optionally, we can sneak in a touch of coarse salt, and that's it, enjoy this wonder, which I'm sure will suit you. to love
