Hello Hive friends in this community. I will make a cake with simple ingredients left in my refrigerator. Even with limited ingredients, I can make a cake that tastes delicious and is fail-proof and of course anyone can make a cake with my recipe without fear of overdoing it. The essence of each of my recipes is to dare to try with ingredients that we often use and of course we already know these ingredients.
The ingredients I need to make this simple cake are:
1. 5 bananas that are half ripe, which means not too ripe and not too unripe (you can use any banana, but because I have LIlit bunch bananas which are a type of banana in my country with a sweet taste and this banana is a banana from my own garden so I use this type of banana)
2. 2 tablespoons granulated sugar. (You can add more if you think it's not sweet enough, but in this recipe I don't want a cake that is too sweet.)
3. 100 grams of tapioca flour
4. A little beet fruit (the beet fruit here is just for color gradation so that my banana dough isn't too pale, and I used a little beet fruit so that the taste of the beet fruit doesn't dominate and mix with the taste of the banana dough.
5. Grated coconut from ¼ large coconut.
And the way I make this simple banana cake dough is:
1. Peel the banana first then I grate it using a coarse-textured grater
2. Once finished, I grated it, then the next ingredient I mixed was grated coconut
3. Then the next ingredient I added was granulated sugar
4. Next, I grated the beets directly into my cake batter to make it much more practical
5. The next ingredient I added was tapioca flour and after that stirred until smooth and all the ingredients were mixed perfectly
6. In this mixture, there is no need to add water because there is already a lot of water in the banana that we grated.
7. After all the ingredients are mixed, put them into the mold then compact the mixture then steam over medium heat for approximately 10 minutes.
8. My simple banana cake is ready and I can enjoy it.
In accordance with my expectations, the cake I made has a dense and chewy texture but not too dense, the taste is not too sweet and the mixed beet fruit is also tasteless, it just gives a little touch of color and this cake has a savory texture in it so it meets my expectations. This cake is very fitting and according to taste. And in accordance with what I said above, limitations will not prevent us from working. Greetings from Maytom, Indonesia
