Let's use oatmeal to make delicious snacks.

Sometimes we need challenging circumstances to make our imagination come out and find new things after that or solve problems that are considered complicated. and I'm sure you all have experienced a phase like this. I'm currently experiencing a phase like that and I'll tell you about it. Currently the rain continues to wet my city and it can happen all day long even though the sun is still very hot but suddenly the sky is dark and the rain falls heavily of course this also affects my activities especially the activities that I will do outside the house such as my weekly shopping or monthly shopping.

We can wait until the rain stops but not my stomach. Because I am used to having snacks at home in the afternoon and then the stock for the snacks runs out, I decided to make it myself. But a new problem also arises Where now all the ingredients are running out especially the flour because I have limited its use. But sometimes at times like this I want to consume it once in a while. The absence of flour does not affect me and I will continue to make snacks with the availability of existing ingredients and of course this recipe is also a recipe that I have made for the first time with high confidence that my recipe will be perfect.

The ingredients that I prepared to make my afternoon snack today are:

1. 100 grams of oats

2. 3 tablespoons of rice flour

3. ¼ tablespoon of salt

4. Chili powder adjusted to each person's level of spice tolerance (if you don't have it, it doesn't matter because you can use fresh chili or pepper.)

5. 2 cloves of shallots
6. 1 clove of garlic

7. 1 carrot

8. Chives (I used these chives because I didn't have any celery or leek leaves, I took these chives from my backyard. The reason I used these chives was because the aroma was the same as the aroma of chives, I only used enough.)

9. Sufficient water or approximately 100 ML.

How to make:

1. The first step I did was take a larger container then I put oatmeal into the container

2. After that I put in the rice flour and mixed it with the oats of course

3. Then the next ingredients I put in were salt and chili powder

4. Then the next thing I did was take the chives and cut them into small pieces

5. Then the next thing I did was clean the carrots then I sliced them thinly and I formed them into long shapes. Then I mixed the chives and carrots into the container that had previously contained flour.

6. Don't forget I finely chopped the garlic and shallots without pounding them. Then I also mixed the onions into the container

7. After that I slowly mixed the water and stirred all the ingredients until smooth. To mix the water little by little because I was afraid of it being too runny. Because if there is not enough water, we can still add it, but when the dough is too runny, it will be difficult to fix it, especially in the midst of the current limited ingredients and the photo of the dough will be as seen in the photo

8. After the dough is done, I heat the vegetable oil and don't need too much, then after the oil is hot, I take a little bit of the dough using a spoon and then I fry it.

9. Fry with medium heat tending to be low so that the results look better.

10. Then after the dough is brownish, I lift it and drain it first before I enjoy it.

And I named this dish BAKWAN vegetable oatmeal. And it turns out that using oatmeal flour to make this Bakwan is much tastier and crispier, the result is as if there is no oil that settles on the flour and this is a good discovery for me personally because in addition to reducing oil, I can also reduce the use of wheat flour at the same time. Although the price of oatmeal is much more expensive than wheat flour, I also will not make this dish repeatedly in too close proximity, so I think the price of oatmeal is not too much of a problem.
And have you ever used this oatmeal for a dish that is crispy like this? let's leave it in the comments column and greetings from me Maytom, Indonesia
