Pineapples are a fruit that I often buy and make dishes or drinks from pineapples. I have shared many home recipes with all my HIVE friends in several communities regarding recipes made from pineapples. In my city, pineapple is a cheap fruit. The price of pineapple per fruit is usually sold at IDR. 3,000 to Rp. 8,000 depending on the size of the pineapple, and if I follow the US dollar exchange rate, then the price of the pineapple is 0.195 U$ dollar to 0.53 U$ Dollar. Do you think that price is cheap or not if you compare it with your country?
And this afternoon I accidentally bought pineapples for my supplies at home and I wanted to make pudding and drinks from them. It seems like I haven't bought pineapples for a month and have replaced them with avocados and Dutch eggplants which are still plentiful in my house. And just like before, I don't shop at supermarkets, I prefer to shop for vegetables and fruit at traditional markets, as I often do, and I also buy pineapples from a specialist pineapple seller. They don't sell any fruit anymore except pineapples.
There are many advantages when I shop for pineapples at this big pineapple agent.
The first is that we can choose the price of the pineapple according to the size and size of the pineapple,
and the second is that they will ask what the pineapple is for because sometimes some customers actually look for it. sour pineapple to use as pickles or other recipes that I don't know what for.
And thirdly, they will ask that the pineapple fruit we buy will be consumed now or tomorrow or in the next few days, because they will choose the pineapple fruit according to our needs.
Because I will consume the pineapple that I bought today, the seller chose ripe pineapple for me with a sweet taste and I have bought it several times from this place and the results have never disappointed me. And just for your information, these traders don't have shops, they sell on trucks and stay in people's houses which are not used to sell and they pay daily rent there. And apart from selling skinned pineapples, they also sell pineapples that have been peeled and then put in plastic. Many people are also interested in these pineapples because many people are too lazy to peel pineapples because of the eyes of the fruit.
I've got my pineapple fruit and I'm going to process it into several dishes including pineapple pudding, which I will also share the recipe for in this group, although not today, look forward to my next post to find out about my other recipes made from pineapple. Oh yes, I almost forgot, so that the pineapple lasts a long time, don't peel it. choose pineapple which we can eat that day. then store it in the refrigerator to last longer. My best regards, Maytom from Indonesia

It has a good price, here in my country you can buy just one for a dollar and a half to two dollars if it is large, or get three small ones for a dollar 😱
Each country has different prices and I'm sure there are many fruits that don't have a price in your country but have a high price in my area @edwing357
That's true, here we have many delicious fruits, the tropical climate of the country allows us to enjoy all kinds of fruit varieties.

One of my favorite fruits, and seeing the cut results in the plastic makes my mouth water. They must be very sweet.
That right, thank you for your visiting @nurfay
Hello, it is the same here in Venezuela, pineapples are between 0.4$ to 1$. They also sell them peeled, in bags, I don't like to peel pineapples. And yes, with pineapples we prepare many dishes and drinks. Greetings.
The more I got here I realized how much Venezuela and Indonesia have in common @hylene74
