Greetings to everyone and season greetings to this great community of plant power vagan I greet you all.
Today I want to share this wonderful recipe this recipe is popularly know but I combine with a fruit I love so much which is banana, and combining banana with rice is very delicious you will eat to your satisfaction.
I cook this well garnish jollof rice with veggies and I want something that will go down with it I have to think of something because I don't like eating jollof rice alone I must eat with salad, cucumber or any other thing but will banana that I have not try before so I have to give it a try.
I already have banana in my fridge so I have to give it a try but to my greatest surprise it was a very delicious and good combination which everybody will love that is why is said let me share with my friends on hive.
INGREDIENTS USED
3 cups of rice
2 pices of banana
1 medium Onion
1/2 tablespoon of dry pepper
Salt to taste
3 piece of fresh tomatoes
1 sachet of tomato paste
4 pieces of carrots
8 piece of green beans
1/2 tablespoon of mix spice
Handful of Curry leave
1/2 cup of Groundnut oil
Water.
PROCEDURE
I will explain this process step by step
STEP 1
I will first put my rice in a clean pot add water and cook.
While waiting for my rice
I will wash my tomatoes and onions and slice them and set them aside.
In the next 10 minutes I will bring my rice down pour in my seive and wash.
STEP 2
In a clean and dry pot I will put my groundunt oil allow to get hot and add my salt.
I will also add my slice onions and stir.
I will now add my slice fresh tomatoes.
I will stir very well before I will now add my tomato paste.
I will now stir very well and add water.
I will now add my dry pepper.
I will also add my mix spice.
This mix spice is mixture of turmeric, ginger and garlic.
After mix spice I will now add my rice.
I will stir very well.
I will now wash my curry leaf and slice.
I will now add them into my pot of rice and stir.
I will cover my pot and allow my rice to be done.
Note: you can add another salt if the first one is not enough.
While waiting for my rice to be done I will now wash my carrots and green beans and slice.
Once my rice is done and dry water I will now put my slice green beans and carrots and stir together.
Here my jollof rice and veggies is ready.
I will now peel my bananas and cut them into pieces.
I will now use them and serve my jollof rice.
Looking at this dish is very tempting and the taste is topnotch I really enjoyed this meal.
