When I was growing up as a kid once we went to the farm I will bring cassava to make this cassava food so that if we are coming the next day I will come along with my cassava food Abacha and I will eat it in the farm with my mother as our afternoon food and after eating we continue with our farming.

I got married and also see that my husband people also do the same thing going to farm with Abacha to eat as afternoon food in the farm.

My kids are not growing up in the village so they don't know anything about cassava they only know that garri can come out of cassava after processing it but don't know about other things.

And she will always ask mummy why do people farm only cassava in their farm and leave other things why is only garri that comes out of cassava and I will tell her that there are lots of things that comes out of cassava that is why I made this Abacha for her to see I will still do other things.

Hi @nikky01

When we make a recipe, we must ALWAYS indicate ALL THE INGREDIENTS USED, as well as the portions obtained from it.

Looking at your post, I notice that you used peanuts, but you don't indicate in the ingredients list how much you used. Please edit your post, and include that information and the rations obtained.

Thank you

I've never eaten cassava that way but it looks delicious! Great job!

This cassava is really delicious...I've never tried eating it with nuts...but in my hometown, boiled cassava is sliced like that, then seasoned with garlic, coriander, salt and seasoning, then dried in the sun until dry, then fried and becomes a family snack and is even now used as food. typical of my hometown... thank you for sharing

You are welcome
