Yam with fresh red oil sauce garnish with tomatoes and onions

Greetings to my wonderful people here, how are you all doing I hope you all are doing wonderfully well. Am happy to write this my new recipe here.

Am about to prepare dinner for my family, I have something in mind to cook but I changed my mind because it been a while I eat something fresh and natural and it came to my mind to prepare yam.

I love to eat yam a lot no doubt I have yam that I remain the last time I cooked yam is big enough for me and my family is almost a full tube of yam.

But am thinking of what to eat it with, should I cook it porridge or white.
I choose white so I can use the fresh red oil I have here.
I got the fresh red oil for the village the red oil is very sweet and as of garnishing I will use fresh tomatoes and onions to garnish it.

Now that I want to garnish it with tomatoes, should I fry the tomatoes or slice and put them their I now remember that my kids do eat tomatoes raw when ever I buy tomatoes.
So I said let my eat the tomatoes raw and see how it taste. Trust me the taste is really good and also looks charming.

INGREDIENTS USED
1 tube of yam
1/2 cup of red oil
3 piece of tomatoes
1 medium Onion
5 piece of fresh pepper
Salt to taste
Water.

PROCEDURE
YAM
I Peel my yam and cut into smaller size and wash.

In a clean pot, I put my yam add water and put on fire.

It took the yam 25 minutes to be done.
When the yam is about 15 minutes on fire I add salt to the white yam and continue cooking for more 10 minutes by then the salt has enter into the yam very well and once my yam is done I will bring it down.

I will remove the yams from the water because of the yam continue staying in the water it will make the yam more softener.

SAUCE
How I prepare my sauce is easy and simple.
I will wash my onions, peppers and tomatoes and slice them and keep them aside.

In a clean plate I put my fresh red oil and add salt to it and stir.

After salt I add my tomatoes.

After tomatoes I add my slice onions.

Finally I add my slice onions.

After adding my pepper I stir very well.
Looking at this my dish it looks delicious and eye charming the taste is topnotch.
