Shall we make a change to tee time? / delicious sini sambola with toasted bread

So, Today I am going to add a change to your tee time.



🤔Sini sambol with toasted bread? 😋😋 Mmmm this is one of my favorite food.For the people of Sri Lanka this is a very familiar dish..

The main ingredient used to make this sini sambola is large onion. Also, several types of spices are used for this recipe.For Sri Lankan people, this recipe is made in a different way.. and one thing needs to be said.. you don't need to be a cooking expert to make this recipe. Because this is a very easy recipe.

People in Sri Lanka usually don't forget to take bread with a sini sambola like this when they go on a trip. You can also take this kind of food to the morning tea time.But this is not suitable for gastritis peoples . Because sugar, oil and chili are used more for this. For those who like spicy food, this recipe is perfect.



So now let's see what are the ingredients needed to make sini sambola?

  • Large onions 02
  • Green chilies 03 or kochchichilies
  • Chili powder 1/2 tsp
  • Chili flakes 01 tsp
  • Unroasted curry powder 01 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Salt powder 2 tsp
  • Curry leaves 01 pinch
  • Pandan leaves
  • Brown sugar 1 tbsp
  • cinnamon 1 piece
  • cardamom 02
  • Coconut oil 2 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds 01 tsp


Method

  • 1 step
    First clean the onions .. and cut into small pieces like this .


  • 2 step

And add to that green chilies or kochchi chiles , curry leaves and pandan leaves


  • 3 step

Now add to that small cinnamon pieces and some cardamom seeds .


  • 4 step

Then add to that chili powder , turmeric powder , unroasted curry powder , salt and chili flakes . Mix all ingredients well.


  • 5 step

Put a pan on a low flame.. After it heats up, add 02 table spoons of coconut oil. After it gets hot, add some mustard.Using vegetable oil can reduce the taste of these sini sambolas. So use coconut oil


  • 6 step

After it gets hot, add the sini sambola mixture. And add about 1 teaspoon of water, cover and keep for about 15 minutes.


  • 7 step

After 15 minutes add to that one table spoons of brown sugar .mix this onion mixture well until it turns dark brown. This should be done with a little patience. 😅


Now delicious sin sambol is ready. So this sini sambola can be eaten with rice, bread and roti. I made this for tea time. So you can also eat with bread like this. It is suitable for tea time as well as for a little hunger. Because this recipe does not require a lot of ingredients.

So eat toasted bread with spicy sini sambola like this. and drink a hot hot tea. That combination is perfect .
especially Use cardamom and cinnamon to this seeni sambol . So enjoy this new experience with your family members.
