Pergedel corn vermicelli
Processed corn vermicelli is combined with tempeh and then fried crispy to create an extraordinary taste. This dish can be used as a snack or even as a side dish to enjoy a simple lunch at home.
It was an amazing experience in my cooking world, corn vermicelli paired so perfectly with tempeh. Tempeh is rich in protein, but the combination of the two ingredients becomes very complete on the plate. Well not only the two ingredients above I also added carrots as a complete dish today.
Ingredients Used
1 tempeh board
1 carrot
1 tomb spoons of wheat flour
1 teaspoon ground pepper
1 teaspoon coriander powder
Celery leaves to taste
¼ teaspoon salt
2 green chili peppers
1 red chili pepper
Cooking Procedure
Cut the celery leaves and chilies to taste, then set them aside.
Cut the tempeh into squares, then boil in boiling water until cooked.
Grate carrots with a chease grater, or lengthwise according to taste.
Stir the grated carrots with the prepared vermicelli.
Add celery leaves, and also chili. Then season with salt and also ground pepper.
Stir until well mixed, now if the tempeh is cooked, mash the tempeh then stir the vermicelli with the tempeh.
Add flour then shape according to taste, shape according to taste.
Fry with hot oil until brownish yellow.
Result
Tara!!! Processed tempeh vermicelli is ready to be served in a warm condition. Make sure not to fry too hard so that the texture is better when enjoyed because there are soft parts in it.
