Easy Way to Make Sweet Potato Ginger Soup

Hi vegan lovers, how are you all, I hope you are always in good health, enthusiastic about living beautiful days with your family at home. This time I will invite you to prepare a special recipe from sweet potatoes.




Sweet Potato Ginger Soup


This soup is the best way to warm the body as well as the best way to fill up by sipping the perfect healthy soup. Ginger is a spice that is very rich in benefits. It has many benefits and is very filling and is very suitable to be the best choice on long holidays like this. There are not many ingredients, but apart from being filling, it has many benefits for our body.

This is not the first time I have prepared this soup, I often do it if I have sweet potatoes at home. Because it is so easy to make that it is very quick to prepare. Below I will show you the recipe!




Ingredients

1 sweet potato
To taste palm sugar
1 stalk lemongrass
3 cm ginger
3 spoons of wheat flour
1 spoon sugar (optional)
1 teaspoon salt




Creation Procedure


Make The Sweet Potato Mixture


Step 1


Peel and wash the sweet potatoes until clean then cut the sweet potatoes thinly.

Step 2


Steam the sweet potatoes for approximately 10 minutes until completely cooked and tender.

Step 3


Make the sweet potato mixture, mash the sweet potatoes with a pestle or whatever you have.

Step 4


Add salt and granulated sugar, then puree again until perfectly smooth.

Step 5


Add flour, then knead until the dough is smooth.

Step 6


Shape the dough into elongated and pointed ends or you can also round it into a ball according to your taste.

Step 7


Boil the sweet potato mixture in boiling water until cooked, indicated by floating to the top, lift and then drain.

Make Ginger Soup


Step 1


Slice the palm sugar according to taste so that it dissolves easily later when making ginger soup.

Step 2


Cut the lemongrass into 2 pieces and then crush the ginger so that the ginger will give off a delicious taste, then prepare ginger soup.

Step 3


Boil 1 liter of water until it boils then add all the prepared ingredients.

Step 4


Stir and cook until it boils, now when it is cooked the aroma is very fragrant. Wait until it's warm before serving.

Serve ginger soup with sweet potato in a serving bowl then stir and enjoy warm during winter is the right choice. Well, usually this is my mainstay menu at dinner. I really enjoy enjoying it in the warm conditions of the rainy season in my country.

The taste is sweet with the aroma of ginger, a delicious combination with the chewiness of the sweet potato dough coated with a little flour. This makes me full I don't need to add anything else this is already very tasty and fills me up.
