Snacks are not just about the food you usually see, there are a lot of snacks that have extraordinary flavors that you have never found. But what if today's snack is a very simple snack but holds a deep meaning when you will enjoy it.

Dates are one of the fruits that have seeds that are quite hard, the fruit originating from the Middle East is sold after fermentation and is identical to the black color which is very sweet in taste and quite soft in texture. Dates are enjoyed directly already very tasty, but when the Ramadhan season yesterday I had a lot of dates at home. So processing them into other food ideas became a must for me.

This classic date recipe is always the one I miss the most during the month of Ramadan like yesterday. I don't know why this childhood takjil is the best that my mom made. Not many people know about it, but trust me, it's delicious and my family's favorite snack at home.

Crispy Fried Dates

Crispy fried dates are ripe dates that are seeded and then left thin and fried with flour. Well these fried dates have a unique flavor and are certainly very delicious to enjoy at any time. Especially enjoyed when relaxing with family while drinking hot tea in the afternoon.

Crispy dates are ready to be enjoyed, the taste is very fitting on the tongue with the right blend of flour that is not hard. Crispy and savory, there is a distinctive soft and moist texture of the dates. I really like the aroma, I don't know why when fried dates give off a fragrant aroma and it makes you want to try it.

Well in contrast to bananas that are fried, fried dates have a crunchier texture, probably because the meat is thinner so that when fried it becomes lighter. The sweetness is just right, well you need to know my mom when making flour dough does not add sugar this is because the dates are already sweet enough. But if you want the dough to be a little sweet, you can give a little sugar like this recipe.
