Ginger Pear Soup
Ginger pear soup, is a processed pear that is cut and then given ginger spices and cinnamon and puncture the lawang flower on the pear meat. This aims to penetrate the aroma and flavor of the flower into the pear meat. Pears do have a lot of water content, but they also have enough sugar content so that in the soup you don't need to add other sweeteners besides palm sugar to get an interesting color in the soup dish.
This soup was inspired by my grandmother, who said this ginger soup is a very effective cough reliever. And even now I often use this soup as a cough reliever and also warms the body. Now this soup itself is not only enjoyed when you have a cough. You can enjoy it whenever you want especially during the rainy season or winter this soup is the best mainstay. Now how to make it, let's look at the recipe below!.
Ingredients To Be Prepared
8 cm ginger
8 cm cinnamon
To taste star anise seeds
1 star anise
1 tablespoon palm sugar
Making Procedure
Cut the pear into several pieces, here I cut lengthwise.
Skewer the lawang flower on the meat pear of the lawang flower every unit of pear cut I stuck 3 lawang flower seeds.
When finished, heat 1.5 liters of water, then add the roasted ginger and also add cinnamon.
Then add palm sugar, and star anise, cook until the soup starts to boil.
Next add the pear pieces, cook for about 3 minutes, turn off the stove and the soup is ready to be enjoyed.
Result
Serve the warm pear soup in a serving bowl, enjoy it while it's warm by sipping the soup and let your pear meat enjoy slowly, now here I move the bunga lawang spice part when I enjoy it. This spice is only meant to provide flavor and aroma in the soup, not to be chewed because it tastes bad. But the fragrance and taste in the soup I make sure is very delicious and authentic. So anyone who enjoys it will definitely like it. Moreover, the aroma of ginger combined with palm sugar gives a special color.
For those of you who are coughing, or having an unseasonably cold day I think this soup would be great to accompany your day. It's a simple dish with good-for-you benefits, definitely plant-based, especially in other countries where I'm sure pears are easy to find. And make sure spices are a very important ingredient in this soup.

Vegetable soup, especially for this time of year depending on the specific ingredients, generates a variety of health benefits.
A good source of vitamins A, C, K, folate, potassium, and other minerals depending on the vegetables used.
Contributes to good digestion and intestinal health. Helps regulate cholesterol and blood glucose levels.
Many vegetables contain antioxidants that protect cells from free radical damage.
It is a good way to increase fluid intake, especially important in hot climates or if you are sick.
It can help control weight by promoting a feeling of fullness.
The amount of nutrients depends on the types and amounts of vegetables used, as well as how they are prepared. A soup with lots of potatoes and few leafy greens will have a different nutritional profile than a soup with lots of leafy greens and few potatoes.
Some vegetable soups may be high in sodium if a lot of salt or bottled broth is added. It is advisable to prepare the soup at home to control the amount of salt but I love the wood-fired ones best.
For maximum benefits, it is recommended to use a variety of different colored vegetables, control the amount of added salt and fat, and preferably use cooking methods that minimize nutrient loss.
Soups with a variety of vegetables are undeniably rich in benefits and vitamins. But what I am serving here is a warming soup and also a cough suppressant that I prepared from pears. This soup has a sweet and slightly spicy flavor from ginger. Of course, the aroma is abundant from the spices I added.
Hope you can try this soup, friend!
