If a simple dish is prepared with spices, it will taste different. Fragrant with spectacular taste!.
Green eggplant is a simple eggplant which, if processed, will have an authentic taste. Well, eggplant is classified as a plant that is very easy to cultivate. Like other eggplants, the texture of this eggplant is harder than other types of eggplant. However, I think the taste is very delicious, not much less than other types of eggplant.
Eggplant With Coconut Sauce
Today I will cook a dish of processed green eggplant, coconut spiced eggplant. Made from selected spices with a mixture of grated coconut in a blender and then adding coconut milk, this stir-fried eggplant is different from usual.
The thick spices and creamy texture make this eggplant very delicious if enjoyed with. So, if you are curious about the taste and how to make it, let's look at the following recipe!
Materials Used
100 ml thick coconut milk
2 bay leaves
1 starched fennel flower
2 cardamom grains
1 cm cinnamon
Ground spices
2 Spring onions,
1 clove of garlic,
1 candlenut
3 cayenne peppers
1 clove
1 small stalk of star anise
Well, actually this recipe doesn't only apply to green eggplant, if you don't have this type of eggplant, you can use whatever type of eggplant you have at home. Of course, the process remains the same. However, you need to pay attention to the texture of the eggplant itself. Make sure you use eggplant according to the length of time you cook it so that it is perfectly cooked.
Cooking Procedure
First, I prepare the coconut milk first. Then prepare the ground spices in a blender until everything is smooth.
Cut the eggplant lengthwise into two parts then wash thoroughly and marinate briefly with salt.
Add the spices cardamom, star anise, manos wood and bay leaves. Anh then, Add Saute the ground spices in a little cooking oil,
Saute until fragrant, wait for the spices to boil, add the eggplant slices.
Cook briefly then add coconut milk and cook again, stirring occasionally.
Continue seasoning with salt then adjust the taste. If it's ready, wait until it's cooked and ready to serve.
Serving Suggestions
Serve the eggplant seasoned with grated coconut on a serving plate, can be enjoyed with bread or warm white rice. You can even use other types of carbohydrates that you want.
The authentic taste, with the tantalizing aroma of spices makes it very delicious. So, this dish is very suitable for your family's menu at home and you can easily prepare it at home, of course, using simple ingredients that are rich in selected spices.
