Hello my friend's. Starting with well wishes for everyone. Today I just come to write Veggie Shopping (fruits) post. Firstly I like to give thanks @sirenahippie ma'am to bring this mind-blowing challenge. I am really excited to participate on it. It's really a amazing experience to me for buying some fruits for my family. I am housewife, most of the time my husband goes for shopping at market. The only time I go with her is clothes shopping, but very rarely. But my husband is very judicious and buys fresh vegetables and fruits.
Today I came to the market only for this challenge of our community, but I could not to come during the day because I was busy with housework. A few days ago I made a fruit cake and used different fruits in it. I am thinking of buying some fruit for this, oranges are one of the fruits I will use there. Also I planned to make jelly with guava which my daughter Elma likes very much. We like to eat Jujubi as a winter fruit, so we want to buy Jujubi.
First, I went to our local market with my husband, where the vendors are waiting with lots of delicious fruits. To be honest now the price of fruits has doubled than before so we have also reduced our consumption of fruits to a great extent. In fact, I can't have the luxury of buying fruit with so much money, as it can be done on a limited scale, so I try only for my children. I decided to buy some Jujubi, oranges and guavas today.
This is Jujubi and we found it in winter season. This fruit has a very sweet taste, with small seeds inside. Per kg price 1$, I bought 1 kg for my family.
Then I went to another shop ahead to buy guavas, here a guy was selling guavas at a low price and I bought 1 kg of guavas from him. I found the guavas very tasty and fresh so without hesitation I bought guavas from the man.
Then I was looking for oranges at a slightly lower price, but the price of oranges was really high. Oranges were worth about two and a half dollars per kg so I was very worried whether I would be able to buy the oranges in the end. Finally a shopkeeper sold me a kilo of China oranges for two dollars. In fact, it is very difficult to buy fruit at such a price in this commodity market.
But still I am happy because I can buy some fruits for the kids. Then I came home with my husband as I left our child with a relative.
When I came home, I first took the fruits out of the polythene, washed them in water and arranged them in a tray. Then I tried to take some pictures with the fruits in hand to show you.
After taking the pictures I gave some fruits to my children and carefully stored the other fruits in the refrigerator. We should all eat some fruit every day. Eating fruits increases the immunity of the body and keeps the body healthy. Really nice to be able to buy some fresh fruit with my hands after a long time, I thank the organizers for organizing such an exceptional challenge. Really enjoyed today it was only possible because of you.
