Hello everyone,I'm here to show you how I prepared yam porridge for breakfast.yam porridge is a delicious Nigeria yam dish cooked in a well seasoned pepper mixed until it is soft and fluffy with some yam chunks.i like to mix my yam porridge with vegetables especially ukwu.
ingredients
Half tube of yam
Half ukwu
3 cooking spoon of red oil
Half onion
1 tomato
1 sachet of grinded pepper
1 sachet tomato paste
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon of curry
Water....
preparation
I cut my yam into four slices and i pilled it
I cut it into smaller size and i put it inside the bowl
I rinsed it and i sieved out the water
I put my pot on fire,i poured a bowl of water inside it,i allowed to boil for 2omins and i poured my yam inside it.
I put my red oil
While m
I put my grinded pepper
Then i put my tomato paste and i stair it together with my cooking spoon.
I rinsed my tomatoes and onions and i sliced it with my knife
I poured it inside a small bowl and i poured my it inside my yam
I put my salt and curry and i marched it with my turning stick
After that i cut the stems of my ukwu,i cut the down part and pick it with my hand
Then i sliced it with my knife
I poured it inside a big bowl,i rinsed it and i sieve out the water
I poured it inside my porridge and i use my turning stick to turn it together.i covered it to steam for 2omins.my porridge is ready.
