You will need:
For 2 servings

  • 70 g. chia seeds
  • 400 ml. plant-based milk (unsweetened almond milk is used in the recipe)
  • 1 tablespoon of agave syrup (and another 2 teaspoons for the strawberry layer)
  • 150g. fresh strawberries
  • 0.5 tsp nutmeg (optional)

Preparation

  1. Pour milk into a bowl, add chia seeds and mix.

    Add agave syrup, nutmeg and mix well.

    Put it in the refrigerator and leave it for a few minutes, then after removing it, mix it again (this is to prevent any lumps) and leave it in the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours or overnight.
  2. Wash the strawberries, remove the stalks, put them in a bowl, add 1-2 teaspoons of agave syrup and blend them with a hand blender (or mash with a fork/other device) until creamy and somewhat smooth texture.
  3. When the chia pudding has set - the mixture should be thick as such:

    Mix it again and put chia pudding in a glass (about ยผ glass), put mashed strawberries on top, then another layer of chia pudding and mashed strawberries again on top.

    You can totally change the layering or not do it at all. It can also be decorated with fresh sliced strawberries. Prepare two servings like that.

You can enjoy the pudding rigthaway and store the leftowers in the fridge!
