Wishing a very wonderful day to all my dear friends! How are you all doing? Most of the time, I share recipes for snacks that are perfect for tea time. Today, as I have some free time, I'm bringing you a new experience. Just like before, I’ve prepared a delicious recipe that’s ideal for tea time. This recipe can be made with very few ingredients. Unlike store-bought snacks, when prepared at home, you can enjoy it without any artificial flavors or preservatives. I made this snack in just the right amount for our family. So, let’s see how to prepare this simple yet tasty treat!
Materials Used.
Wheat flour 150g.
1 Tablespoon of sugar.
Taste raw salt powder.
Pure coconut oil for frying.
Some water.
The cooking process as follows.
Now, let’s get ready to prepare this delicious snack. First, take a bowl and add some wheat flour. Then, add 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 1 tablespoon of coconut oil to the flour. Mix everything well until fully combined.
Next, gradually add small amounts of water to the mixture and knead it into a smooth dough. Keep adding water as needed until the dough forms properly. Keep it covered for about 20 minutes.
Next, after 20 minutes, take the dough and a rolling board. Sprinkle a little flour on the board, and then use a rolling pin to roll out the dough evenly until it becomes thin.
Next, cut the rolled-out dough into small triangular shapes. Starting from the larger side of each triangle, carefully roll it toward the smaller side. Once rolled, place a drop of water on the edge to seal the snack properly.
Now, take another pan and place it on the stove. Add some coconut oil to it. Once the oil is heated, carefully add the rolled pieces in batches and fry them until they turn a golden brown.
Next, we can drizzle some sugar syrup over these delicious snacks. I haven't demonstrated how to prepare the sugar syrup in this recipe, but I had already made it in advance.
The prepared snack is wonderfully crispy and extremely delicious. Instead of frying in oil, you can also bake it using an oven if you prefer a healthier option. You can enjoy this snack warm with a cup of tea or coffee. I hope you’ll try making it this way too! So, that’s all for today, and I’ll say goodbye for now. Have a wonderful day!
These sandwiches look delicious! I have quite a sweet tooth so I wouldn't mind eating them with a nice latte.
