Dear friends, wishing you all a wonderful day! How are you? I hope youâre doing well. Thereâs nothing quite like the aroma of freshly baked buns filling your kitchenâespecially when theyâre soft, fluffy, and filled with a flavorful potato stuffing! This recipe combines the comforting richness of spiced potatoes with the tender perfection of homemade buns. Whether served for breakfast, teatime, or as a quick snack, these buns are sure to win over everyone at the table. Plus, theyâre surprisingly easy to prepare!
So, letâs dive into how to make these delightful buns step by step. đ
Materials Used.
Wheat flour 200g.
Salt powder to taste.
4 Tablespoon of coconut oil.
1 1/2 Teaspoon of Yeast.
1 1/2 Teaspoon of sugar.
A little warm water.
2 Teaspoon of Tomato sauce.
2 potatoes cut into small squares.
2 cloves of chopped garlic.
1/2 Teaspoon of pepper powder.
1/4 Teaspoon of turmeric powder.
1 Teaspoon crushed chili powder.
The cooking process as follows.
Let's begin preparing the dough. First, take a mixing bowl and add the following ingredients: wheat flour, a pinch of salt, 1 tablespoon of coconut oil, sugar, and yeast. Mix them well. Gradually add lukewarm water while kneading to form a soft dough. Once the dough is ready, cover it and let it rest for about 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, let's prepare the potato filling. For this: Take a pan and place it on the stove. Add about 2 tablespoons of coconut oil. Once the oil is heated, add the potato cubes and a little crushed garlic. Allow them to cook until soft. Once the potatoes are cooked, add a pinch of salt, chili powder, turmeric powder, and pepper powder. Mix everything thoroughly. Finally, add a little tomato sauce and mix well. Remove the pan from the heat.
Now, let's take the dough and roll it out thinly using a rolling pin as follows: Place the prepared dough on the surface and flatten it slightly using your hands.
Add the Filling: Place a small spoonful of the potato filling in the center of each dough circle. Be careful not to overfill.
Seal the Edges: Fold the dough in half to enclose the filling, forming a semi-circle. Press the edges firmly with your fingers or a fork to seal. This will prevent the filling from spilling out while baking. Shape as Desired: You can leave it as a semi-circle or form other shapes, like a bun or pocket, depending on your preference.
Next, place the prepared bun on a greaseproof paper and bake.
These super soft potato-filled buns are a delightful blend of texture and taste, making them perfect for any occasion. Whether enjoyed fresh out of the oven or packed for later, theyâre guaranteed to satisfy your cravings. Try them out, and donât forget to share your thoughts and any unique twists you added to the recipe. Iâd love to hear how yours turned out!
have a nice day.
