Have a great day, dear friends. How are you? If you visit a Sri Lankan sweet shop, one of the must-have sweets is laddu. It is an expensive sweet, yet it is also known as an Indian dish that can be easily prepared at home without costing much. Made from chickpea flour, laddu is not only delicious but also nutritious. This sweet treat pairs perfectly with coffee or tea, making it ideal for our beloved tea time. Let's see how to prepare it.
Materials Used.
Chickpea flour 150g.
Water 400ml.
Sugar 200ml.
A pinch of cardamom powder.
1/4 Teaspoon of turmeric powder.
1/4 Teaspoon of baking soda.
coconut oil 100ml.
Some crushed roasted peanuts.
The cooking process as follows.
Now let's prepare this delicious sweet. First, take a bowl and add the chickpea flour to it. Next, add about 200ml of water and mix it well until there are no clumps.
Next, we add turmeric powder and baking soda to it and mix it well until it becomes thick.
Now put a pot on the stove and add coconut oil, heating it on a low flame. Once the oil is hot, place a strainer over the pot and pour some of the prepared batter onto the strainer, allowing the batter to drip into the oil to form small pieces. Fry these pieces until they turn golden brown.
Let's take a pot again and put it on the stove and add 150g of sugar. Add water to cover the sugar. Then when the sugar syrup bubbles, add cardamom powder. Mix it well.
Then we add the fried laddu mixture to the sugar syrup. Mix it well and after it gets the right consistency, remove it from the heat and put it in another bowl.
After next 10 minutes we make the mixture into small balls. Spread peanut powder in those lumps.
This delicious laddu is also used as a dessert. It is a good opportunity to entertain the guests who come to your home. This is a nutritious dish that can be prepared at home at low cost. I think you are also prepared in this way. So I will say goodbye for today. Great day to you.

I absolutely love, Bundi Ladu. I haven’t tried making it at home, though my mom keeps telling me that she would like to prepare different kinds of blood like the dink Laddu, Rava Laddu and sometimes the Motichoor Laddoo.🤤🫶🏻
