Dear friends, wishing all of you a wonderful day! Today, on this relaxing Saturday, I'm here to share a new recipe with you—a flavorful mushroom curry. It’s a delicious addition to a meal with rice, bread, or roti, bringing rich taste without any artificial flavoring. This curry is prepared using only the spices available at home, making it both wholesome and tasty.
This vegetarian-friendly dish is a valuable source of nutrition, providing an excellent amount of protein along with other nourishing ingredients. It’s an ideal addition to any balanced meal, packed with essential nutrients. So, let’s dive into how to make this delightful dish!
Materials Used.
Mushroom 200g.
Salt powder to taste.
A chopped onion.
About a green chillies, finely chopped.
A chopped tomato.
Two pieces of Pandan Leaves.
Curry leaves.
A piece of cinnamon.
About a teaspoon of garlic and ginger paste.
2 Crushed cardamom pods.
2 Clove.
2 Tablespoon of coconut oil.
1 Cup of Thickened coconut milk.
2 Teaspoon of Roasted curry powder.
1 Teaspoon of curry powder.
1 Teaspoon of chili powder.
1/4 Teaspoon of turmeric powder.
1/4 Teaspoon of Fenugreek.
1/2 Teaspoon of Mustard seed.
The cooking process as follows.
Let's get ready to prepare this delicious mushroom curry. First, break the mushrooms into small pieces. Then, wash them thoroughly to ensure they are clean and ready for cooking.
Next, take a pan and place it on the stove, adding 2 tablespoons of coconut oil. Once the oil heats up, add mustard seeds and fenugreek and mix well. Then, add cardamom pods, cloves, garlic and ginger paste, cinnamon, chopped onion, and curry leaves, mixing everything together. Let it fry for about a minute.
Now, add the pandan leaves and green chilies to the mixture and combine everything well.
Next, add chili powder, turmeric powder, curry powder, and roasted curry powder to the mixture well.
Now, we add the pieces of mushrooms and mix well. Next, add the tomatoes and salt as needed, mixing everything thoroughly. Let it cook for about a 3minute.
Now, add the coconut milk to the cooked mushrooms. Let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes, then remove it from the heat.
Now it's time to serve this delicious mushroom curry! Adding this dish to your table will not only bring flavor but also elegance to your meal.
