How are you all? Today is as beautiful as ever. Preparing new, tasty, and nutritious food is a wonderful opportunity for our health and for gaining new experiences. Today, I'd like to introduce you to a new recipe. Did you know that jackfruit can be used in many ways to prepare food? But have you ever tried making a delicious curry from jackfruit seeds?
The curry I prepared today, served with rice, is not only delicious but also nutritious, as it uses ingredients readily available at home. Including this dish in your diet can also boost your body's immunity. So, let's dive into the preparation and discover what ingredients are required to make this delightful curry.
Materials Used.
Jackfruit seed 500g.
1 Teaspoon of Mustard seed.
1/2 Teaspoon of Fenugreek seeds.
1 finely chopped onion.
3 or 4 pieces of garlic.
Curry leaves.
3 Cardamom pods.
About 3 cloves.
A few sticks of cinnamon.
A little coconut oil.
2 Cups of coconut milk.
1/2 Cup grated coconut.
2 Tablespoons of white rice.
2 Teaspoons of chili powder.
2 Teaspoon of curry powder.
1 Teaspoon of turmeric powder.
Salt to taste.
1 Teaspoon of pepper powder.
1 Teaspoon of suduru.
Method of making.
Now we first take a pot and add jackfruit seed and water to it and boil it well for about 30 minutes without removing the skin.
Next, strain the boiled jackfruit seed water and keep it aside. Then take a pan and put it on the stove, when the pan is hot, add fenugreek seeds and white rice and fry until it turns brown.
Next, add the grated coconut, cinnamon, cloves and Cardamom and fry. Also take some mustard seeds.
Now grind all the fried things together with a blender or any other device.
Next, we add a little water to the prepared mixture and prepare it in the form of a paste. Boiled jackfruit seeds are added to the prepared paste and mixed well. Keep it aside for about 5 minutes.
Next, we need to finely cut the onion and garlic.
Then we take a clay pot and put it on the stove and add 2 tablespoons of coconut oil. After the oil heats up, lightly fry the garlic, onion and pepper.
Add chili powder, curry powder and turmeric powder to it and mix it. Add the jackfruit seed mixture to it and mix again.
Now we add about a cup of coconut milk to it.
Mix it again and then add curry leaves and salt powder. It cooks for about 5 minutes. Then add another cup of coconut milk. Cook it for about 7 minutes and remove it from the stove.
So, this black pepper jackfruit seed curry is both very tasty and nutritious. It can be enjoyed with rice or bread, making it a versatile addition to your meals.
