My candied fruit is very natural, I don't add preservatives or artificial sweeteners, I don't even add vinegar, I use lime juice for sour taste, granulated sugar for sweet taste, cayenne pepper for spicy taste, and I add a little salt. Because my mother said that whatever we cook, we need to add a little salt.
