how to make a super simple cucumber salad

Salad is a healthy food because it is rich in fiber, minerals and vitamins. Salad is generally served with various main dishes, side dishes and even desserts.



Have you ever eaten salad, the answer is definitely yes, right? Hehe, personally, I don't eat it too often, even though it's better if we eat salad often, right? Because this salad is very healthy, contains lots of fiber, vitamins and minerals, basically it is very conflicting depending on the salad ingredients themselves, what are they made of, vegetables or fruits, what is certain is whether it's from fruits or vegetables, the main thing is that salad is still healthy.

On this occasion, I will make a super simple salad, why do I say very simple because first it doesn't take much time to mix it, no need to cook and not use many types of vegetables or fruits, only using one main ingredient, namely cucumber, it is very healthy if we make cucumber salad. Have you ever made cucumber salad, I think you must have? There is only a mixture of other ingredients, right, while today I will only make cucumber, there is no mixture of other ingredients besides the salad spices, such as sugar and chili.

Following are the ingredients I use to make cucumber salad

2 large cucumbers
1 tbsp granulated sugar
Chili powder to taste
Roasted sesame seeds


Manufacturing procedure



First


Peel the cucumber skin until it's finished, then shave the cucumber as thin as possible, I use this cucumber peeler. And I shave it lengthwise like this

Second


After the cucumber is ready to be grated, mix in the granulated sugar, sprinkle with chili powder and sprinkle with roasted sesame seeds, stir and wait 2 minutes until the water comes out, then you can eat it.

My simplest salad is ready, and it can be enjoyed or enjoyed with rice. I just eat it like that, no need for rice, because Indonesian people's habit is that when they eat something, they must be served with rice, hehehe, and that really applies to my mother at home, but it doesn't apply to me. Very simple, isn't it? This is the simplest salad I've ever made. Previously, I've also made a salad but using peanut sauce which we usually call pecel. Indonesian pecel is almost similar to salad. Next time, I'll share the recipe for peanut sauce pecel to share in this community, guys.

Usually I make this cucumber salad when it's cucumber season in my village, the majority of people in my village are farmers and gardeners, so when it comes to vegetables and fruit I don't think it's difficult to get them, you don't need to buy them at the market, because when the harvest comes, even though we are not farmers, Planters also get a share of the produce from their garden, whether it's a neighbor's garden or a relative's garden. The good thing about us living in a village is sharing with each other, and also helping each other when there's an event at a neighbor's house, of course everyone in the village work together to help him.
