Rujak mangga tek-tek is actually an old-school recipe from my grandmother's time, she often made rujak mangga tek-tek as a side dish for rice hehee sounds strange, but that's how old people used to be, but the mango was water mango, so it was delicious, because even though this water mango is ripe, it still has a sourness, not sweet like harumanis mango, golek mango and other types of mango, that's why this water mango is delicious to make rujak tek-tek like this, I don't know what you call it, but here we call it rujak mangga tek-tek.
Well, because it's water mango season now, I thought of making this tek-tek mango rujak, this type of water mango with its round shape and small size tastes a bit sour even when it's perfectly ripe, that's why usually in my place this mango is made into tek-tek mango rujak, with the basic ingredient of sour water mango, added with a little salt and white sugar, and also added cayenne pepper, the sour, spicy and sweet tastes are mixed together. Hmmm it tastes really delicious.
Oh yes, a little advice from me, this tek-tek mango rujak must use water mango or you can also use mango that is not so sweet, so it will definitely taste good, if the mango is sweet it won't taste good to make tek-tek mango rujak.Okay, let's get straight to making mango tek-tek.
3 tbsp powdered sugar
1/2 tbsp salt
Cayenne pepper to taste
Peel all the mango skin, then wash it until it is completely clean of sap.

Continue by tek-tek the mango, aka slicing the mango according to taste..

Well, this is it, the tek-tek mango rujak is ready, very easy and simple, right?
It tastes sweet, spicy and sour, put it in the refrigerator and eat it cold - it tastes even better, usually I leave it in the refrigerator for 1 hour, so it's fresh when eaten, with the hot weather it's perfect to enjoy mango rujak tek-tek ice like this.My mother really likes to eat it as a side dish with rice, she said it's really delicious, but if I eat it like that, I don't want to mix it with rice, hehhe.
Yes, that's how I usually process slightly sour mangoes, usually if at home or in other places, sour mangoes like this definitely won't sell, right? Or if there are any at home, no one will want to eat them. Well, try making a tek-tek mango rujak like this once in a while, I guarantee almost everyone will like it, especially parents like my mother and grandmother who always make this mango as a side dish for their rice.
