Mmmm...what a yummy recipe! I love it! Yes, I know that tree well. We have some growing on the property. Here we call them kukui nut (trees), and their scientific nomenclature is Aleurites moluccanus. They are very common in this part of the Big Island. They get the name candlenut because an oil good for oil lanterns can be extracted from the nuts. So far I've never tried to eat them, but this gives me some inspiration to explore that a bit more! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

yes, we also make candlenut oil for hair fertility, burn the candlenut until it is burnt and then mash it, add a little coconut oil, use the candlenut oil on the eyebrows and hair so that they are black and lush @tydynrain
