How to make various fried spices with natural spices

The weather in December is still dominated by the rainy season, especially at night, it rains accompanied by cold winds. Therefore, to ward off the cold, I usually make snacks for my family.

But when I opened the fridge, I only found tofu. I'm lazy to process it, so I'll just fry it. Even though it's only fried, but it tastes special, that's what my friends who I've fried know know. Because whatever food ingredients will be fried, whether or not the food is delicious depends on the seasoning, right or not?

The type of tofu at home is tofu sumedang, sumedang tofu has a more chewy texture than other tofu, so it is suitable for making crispy tofu.

So the main ingredients we need are sumedang tofu or silken tofu, other types of tofu may also be needed, if you don't have any, the most important thing is the seasoning.

I prefer to mix the spices myself for frying the tofu, rather than buying mixed spices from the factory. The ingredients to make the marinade are made from spices / kitchen spices that are easily available. We will mix all the ingredients and we will form a dough.

let's prepare the ingredients to make delicious spices.

garlic 3 cloves
coriander 1 teaspoon salt
1/2 tablespoon
turmeric 1 finger
pepper powder 1/2 pack

Because at home there is only tofu, we try to use our own homemade spices to fry the tofu.

Other ingredients for frying the tofu are:

30 pieces of sumedang tofu
5 tablespoons of rice flour
1 tablespoon of wheat flour
enough water
enough cooking oil

how to make :

The Step one: mix rice flour with wheat flour in one bowl.

The second step: wash the turmeric, coriander, garlic, then puree, don't forget to add salt.

The third step: put the spices that have been mashed into the mixture of rice flour and wheat flour

The fourth step: add water little by little until it forms a dough that is close to runny

After the dough is finished, now it's time to fry.

The sixth step: heat the cooking oil on medium heat

The Step seven: after the tofu starts to grow after frying, put the flour mixture into the hot oil containing the tofu, add the flour mixture little by little.

The eighth step: after the tofu is mixed with the dough, fry it until it is half crispy and then turn the tofu over and give the dough a little more, continue frying until the tofu and the dough looks perfectly crispy. when entering the dough, usually the tofu will approach each other and stick to each other😅😅😅 if like this, it's time for us to separate the tofu, so that it doesn't stick to one another, we do the separation process when the dough is half dry, if we separate after the dough is dry, usually the dough will crumble and make the oil dirty with the dough.

don't forget to throw away the remaining flour left in the oil, fry until the tofu runs out.

Fried tofu is ready to be eaten when it is warm, it can be used as breakfast. For breakfast, sprinkle with scallions and if you have it, sprinkle with fried onions.
