My dinner menu, tempeh fried rice

Hello friends in Vegan community, tonight I made a Vegan fried rice menu, I like fried rice but with a small amount of cooking oil, sometimes when I buy fried rice at a restaurant, the cooking oil content is excessive, so if I want fried rice, I'd better make it myself at home.

This Vegan fried rice uses white rice with the addition of several spices such as garlic, shallots, red chilies and tomatoes. Even though the ingredients are simple, the taste is still delicious, because I also added sweet soy sauce to enrich the taste of the fried rice.

Apart from that, to enrich nutrition for Vegan lovers, I also added pieces of fried tempeh, so the fried rice becomes more savory and rich in taste. Fried rice is also not complete if there is no addition of cucumber or watercress, I just added lots of cucumber slices to the fried rice.

The ingredients
The ingredients I use to make Vegan fried rice are :

2 portions of white rice
2 pieces of medium sized tempeh
5 pieces of garlic
3 pieces of shallots
5 pieces of red chili
1 piece of tomato
2 pieces of leek
1 tablespoon of salt
2 tablespoons of sweet soy sauce
100 mL cooking oil
1 packet of ground pepper
1 cucumber

Preparation
1.Clean the garlic, shallots and tomatoes, previously I had peeled the skin of the garlic and shallots, so that when I needed them, I just used them.

2.Puree the garlic, shallots and tomatoes, I used a blender to puree all the ingredients and I didn't add water to puree the ingredients, the water content in the tomatoes was enough to make all the ingredients smooth when in the blender.

3.Cut the leeks into several pieces.

4.Wash the cucumber and cut it into several pieces, I just cut it at a slight angle, I didn't shape it. Friends, you can make your cucumber look more attractive by cutting it according to your taste.

5.The last part is cutting the tempeh, I cut the tempeh into small sizes, about 1 cm in a square shape.

It's time to cook fried rice, my son, Rais can't wait, he likes to eat fried rice.

How to cook
1.Heat the cooking oil, but don't make it too hot, I will use this cooking oil to fry tempeh and also make fried rice.

Warm fried rice can whet your appetite, friends can add crackers if you like. I'm reducing consumption of oily foods, that's why I don't add crackers.

It is true, there is nothing better than cooking at home, to our taste and healthier. I like vegan fried rice, I have eaten it but only in restaurants. Your dish looks good. Regards.

Thanks for support @hylene74

Are you always using tomatoes in this dish? My mother in law comes from Indonesia and she never uses tomatoes, so I thought that they were not that common in that part of the world. Your dish looks tasty!

Tomatoes have a fresh taste, we usually use tomatoes instead of red chilies, so that the dish is not too spicy @delishtreats
