Reusing waste tea powder to fertilize plants

Hello friends in Vegan community, Today I saw a challenge themed #Reusing#, of course this theme relates to materials that are no longer used and most of them are household waste. Most of the household waste is in the form of organic materials, such as leftover vegetables that we don't use for cooking. In addition, there are also vegetables that are stored in the refrigerator for too long so that they become rotten. Usually I don't throw away leftover vegetables from the kitchen, but I process organic waste from my kitchen, I use this organic waste to make organic fertilizer, because I don't use manufactured fertilizers in my garden. From a young age, my grandmother taught me how to use kitchen waste for reuse, so that it is beneficial for plants in the garden. Today I will share information on how to use leftover tea to fertilize plants.

Usually I use tea bags to make tea drinks, of course after use, these tea bags become one of the wastes. But I'm not throwing away these teabag wastes, I'm going to store them for a few days, sometimes even up to 14 days. I usually process this teabag waste to be used as plant fertilizer. I have been using this method for a long time to fertilize various ornamental and fruit plants in my garden.

The materials

The materials that I use to make liquid organic fertilizer from tea waste are :

500 mL of drinking water
2 packs of tea waste that has been stored for several days

How to make organic fertilizer

First, unwrap the tea. After being stored for several days, the waste tea powder has begun to disintegrate.

Second, put the waste tea powder into drinking water. I use drinking water to dissolve the tea waste. If I use unboiled water, I'm afraid there will be bacteria that will interfere with the process of making liquid organic fertilizer from tea powder waste.

After being put into drinking water, we can see the tea waste is pale brown.

Third, put this tea waste outside the room, so it will condense. When the sun rises, we can store this organic fertilizer so that it is not exposed to sunlight and at night we can put it back outdoors. Do it for 2 x 24 hours, if the liquid organic fertilizer we make uses a lot of tea waste, we can do this for 4 x 24 hours.

Fourth, after 3 x 24 hours, liquid organic fertilizer from tea waste can be used to fertilize plants.

How to use

Usually organic fertilizer from tea waste is used in the morning, because the condensation effect that occurs during the organic fertilizer manufacturing process involves condensation at night until morning, so the use of this organic fertilizer is cultivated in the morning. We can immediately water our plants with organic fertilizer from this tea waste.

I will use this liquid organic fertilizer on musk oranges, these oranges bear fruit diligently even though they are not given any manufactured fertilizers. I only provide homemade organic fertilizer from leftover vegetable scraps that are not used. I also give liquid organic fertilizer from this tea waste.

Apart from fruit plants, this liquid fertilizer from tea waste can also be used for ornamental plants, such as cactus and succulents.

4.Make plants flower, diligently flower.

What beautiful plants you have @umirais, they are really beautiful, I suppose they are like this because of the care you give them. Excellent idea to use tea waste as fertilizer for your plants. Thank you for participating in the community contest. Greetings.

Your garden is growing with a variety of plants, and they look fresh. Tea dregs always bring benefits to plants, I also often sprinkle them in flower pots.

yes you are right, tea waste is useful to fertilize our plants @nurfay
