Bendiciones comunidad amantes del buen sabor en esta ocasión deseo compartir mi participación en la tercera edición de compras de vegetales. Esta semana como es habitual fui al establecimiento comercial donde regularmente hago mis compras de vegetales para surtir mi despensa y preparar las comidas que hacemos durante la semana.
Es de mencionar que en esta ocasión no encontré cebolla morada y calabacín , pero para mi sorpresa estaba en la nevera del establecimiento unas auyamas muy pequeña que captaron mi atención ya que nunca había visto una auyamas tan pequeña.
Blessings community lovers of good taste on this occasion I want to share my participation in the third edition of vegetable shopping. This week as usual I went to the commercial establishment where I regularly do my vegetable shopping to stock my pantry and prepare the meals we make during the week.
It is worth mentioning that this time I did not find red onion and zucchini, but to my surprise there were some very small pumpkins in the store's refrigerator that caught my attention and I decided to buy them to prepare delicious creams.
La auyama es un vegetal muy versátil con el cual podemos preparar platillos dulces y salados.
The pumpkin is a very versatile vegetable with which we can prepare sweet and savory dishes.
Como les he comentado en post anteriores nací en un campo donde mis tíos desde niño comenzaron a cultivar la tierra , recuerdo que los vegetales que acostumbraban a sembrar durante el año era auyama y ocumo chino .
Uno de los "trucos" que ellos empleaban el cual aprendí de ellos y me ha dado buenos resultados al comprar auyama es ver el tamaño del pedúnculo inferior si es pequeño y arrugado es buena , otro es golpear suavemente y si el sonido es tamboreado también esta buena.
As I have mentioned in previous posts, I was born in a field where my uncles and aunts began to cultivate the land as a child, I remember that the vegetables they used to plant during the year were auyama (pumpkin) and ocumo chino (Chinese octopus).
One of the "tricks" that they used which I learned from them and has given me good results when buying auyama is to see the size of the lower stalk if it is small and wrinkled is good, another is to hit gently and if the sound is drumming is also good.
This has been my participation in the third edition of vegan shopping. I invite my friend @artsugar to join me in this fascinating adventure.

Aunque no soy vegana, pero consumimos muchos vegetales y ahora con más constancia porque le estamos enseñando a nuestro hijo mayor que no le agradan muchos los vegetales.

En el tiempo de la cosecha llegaba un día cuando no se queríamos saber nada de verduras jeje porque era en el desayuno , almuerzo y cena en varias presentaciones.
