I show you how to prepare some delicious GREEN PLANTAIN omelets.
Ingredients:
5 small green plantains.
Necessary amount of water.
Salt to taste.
Preparation:
We peel our plantains and cut into small pieces, put them in a pot with enough water, a teaspoon of salt and bring to the stove over high heat.
When they are soft we turn them off, remove the excess water and mash them into a puree.
Find a plastic bag and cut it in 2 parts. We take a quantity of our puree and we make it into a ball.
We place on the plastic bag our puree ball on top of it we place the other plastic bag and press it with our hand.
With the help of a rolling pin we stretch the ball so that it is as thin as possible and with a round mold we cut it (as I don't have a rolling pin I used a glass bottle and to cut the circumference I used a lid, the size can be whatever you want). repeat this procedure until the puree is finished.
Turn on the stove and heat a frying pan over medium heat, add a few drops of oil so that our omelets does not stick, put it in the pan and brown on both sides.
Our omelets are ready to be served with the filling of your choice.

Colocamos sobre la bolsa plástica nuestra bolita de puré encima le colocamos el otro plástico y presionamos con la mano.
Con la ayuda de un rodillo estiramos la bolita, que quede lo más finita posible y con un molde redondo cortamos. ( como no tengo rodillo use una botella de vidrio y para cortar la circunferencia use una tapa, la medida puede ser la que tu quieras). repite todo este procedimiento hasta acabar con el puré.
Encendemos la cocina y ponemos a calentar un sartén a fuego medio, le agregamos unas gotas de aceite para que no se pegue nuestra tortilla, la ponemos en el sartén y doramos por ambos lados.
Listas nuestras tortillas para acompañar con el relleno de tu preferencia.
( Yo aproveche y las rellene con un poco de ensalada que me quedo del almuerzo).
