Even though I've been following this community for a few months, this is my first time writing something, so let me introduce myself.
I’m Delilha, I’m Italian and in my Blog I mainly talk about my personal adventures: travels, recipes and books. You can also find articles that talk about science, nature and health, because these are topics that I appreciate and fortunately they are also my job.
I wouldn't call myself a big collector, because I have few collections; however, the ones I have are cared for in detail and I try to preserve them as best as possible to pass them on to future generations.
I love reading about your collections, they are really interesting! I think that each of them represents your personality, you can understand a lot about a person's character through this hobby.

Anche se seguo da qualche mese questa community, è la prima volta che scrivo qualcosa, quindi mi presento.
Sono Delilha, sono italiana e nel mio Blog racconto principalmente le mie avventure personali: viaggi, ricette e libri. Potete trovare anche articoli che parlano di scienza, natura e salute, perché sono tematiche che apprezzo e fortunatamente sono anche il mio lavoro.
Non mi definirei appassionata di collezionismo, perché posseggo poche collezioni; tuttavia, quelle che ho sono curate nei dettagli e cerco di conservarle al meglio per poterle passare alle generazioni future.
Adoro leggere delle vostre collezioni, sono davvero interessanti! Penso che ognuna di esse rappresenti la vostra personalità, si può capire molto del carattere di una persona attraverso questo hobby.
The most magical time of the year has arrived. In fact, since November 1st in my city we have been surrounded by colored lights and Christmas decorations literally everywhere. Sometimes it seems to me that the shops are slightly exaggerating, don't you think?
However, I’m not complaining because I love this time of year. Winter is my favorite season! I love the contrast between the cold of the winter weather with the snow and the warmth of the houses where Christmas is celebrated.
Il periodo più magico dell’anno è arrivato. In realtà, è dal 1° novembre che nella mia città siamo circondati da lucette colorate e addobbi natalizi letteralmente ovunque. A volte mi sembra che i negozi stiano leggermente esagerando, non trovate?
Tuttavia, non mi lamento perché adoro questo periodo dell’anno. L’inverno è mia stagione preferita! Mi piace il contrasto fra il freddo del clima invernale con la neve e il calore delle case dove si festeggia il Natale.
In this post I show you my small collection of Christmas cards. There are about 20 cards and I hope to increase the amount in the coming days.
Most of these cards are handmade, painted by friends or relatives, or printed on cardboard. Some are high quality, others less so, but I like them all.
The funny thing is that none of these 20 cards were purchased by me! It was enough to let friends and family know that I appreciated Christmas cards, and they started to arrive exponentially, like a cascade.
Each of these cards has its own story and are unique because they remind me of the people who gave them to me.
In questo post vi presento la mia piccola collezione di cartoline natalizie. Sono circa 20 cartoline e spero di aumentare la quantità nei prossimi giorni.
La maggior parte di queste cartoline è realizzata a mano, sono state dipinte da amici o parenti, oppure sono stampate su cartoncino. Alcune sono di alta qualità, altre meno, tuttavia mi piacciono tutte.
La cosa divertente è che nessuna di queste 20 cartoline è stata acquistata da me! È bastato far sapere ad amici e familiari che apprezzavo i biglietti di auguri di Natale, e sono cominciate ad arrivare in maniera esponenziale, a cascata.
Ognuna di queste cartoline ha una propria storia e sono uniche perché mi ricordano le persone che me le hanno regalate.

A year ago, when it was the same Christmas season, we had as a monthly theme Christmas cards collection and Christmas decoration collection. I every year get more new postcards for Christmas, and I send them too, it is so nice when people still use this means to communicate their best wishes.

What beautiful Christmas cards, I love these cards 😍 I really liked the ones that came with the traditional Christmas melody, to open it and listen to that melody was beautiful ❤️
Little by little here was lost the tradition of giving these postcards, but I see that this is not completely lost in other parts of the world, Christmas cards are the most beautiful for me, I loved all of these that you show 😍

Yes here in Italy it's quite common to share Christmas cards, especially between children 😊 I hope we won't lose this tradition.
