Seasons greetings friends. Hope you are enjoying the holidays. The harmattan is here that means it's the season of shawls, badana and that's what the December challenge is all about.
I've got quite some beautiful shawls, different colors, fabrics and size. actually didn't know they were this much, not until I brought them all out. How did I even collect all of these? Gosh 😂.
How do I use them? Hmmm, mostly as headties and shawls, especially during the cold and rainy days.
Okay, I'll share them in batches, so I won't miss any, lol.
Here we go..
These ones are of Chiffon fabrics but I'm guessing the plain blue colored one is Voile fabric. Well I'm not too sure. I bought each one of them, but can't really remember when. I know I've had them for years now and they've been serving me so well. The two flowered ones at the middle are long and cover my head so well
Another batch - Cotton and Satin fabrics. The purple and light colored ones are cotton fabrics and I bought them the same day. The green and multi colored ones are satin. The latter is a gift from mom, and I love it.
Combination of colors. The yellow and black colored ones are lace fabrics while the other ones are chiffon. The black speckled one came with a one of the suits I bought when I was starting work in one finance company some years ago. I now use it as hair band.
Another batch
The thickest of them all - made of wool and fur. The checkered one was a gift from a dear friend. That's my handy shawl during cold time.
I had to spread them on the clothe line according to fabric texture so I can capture them all.

It was a cold morning, so this came handy. I felt good after dressing up and I received a couple of compliments too.

Your shawls are very nice, the ones I liked the most are the pink ones, it must be because it's my favorite color haha 😂
Pink is a beautiful and cool color. I have just few wears of pink color. Black is it for me.
