Hello guys, how was your day and how is your family doing? I will be talking about one particular cloth which is very popular in Yoruba land and so many wear it. The Cloth is called Aso Oke in Yoruba land and it's a hand woven cloth and this is created by yoruba people in West Africa. It's used for iro and gele and this type of cloth is used in Kwara, Osun, Oyo, Lagos and Ondo. People rock this cloth to different occasions such aa wedding, burial.

This process of making this cloth is a unique one and people learn it for some time before they get used to it. I have also noted that there are many new ways and techniques that are used in producing the cloth and this is done inorder to make sure the cloths size and thickness is being worked on. My mum bought one recently and they are light now and not heavy like the olden days.people use the aso oke to sow cloths they can use at home and just use for going out. Nowadays some people also make designs that fit this new generation and they make sure good prints are done on it that makes it so good and flashy and people of different tribes can also rock it.

When people talk about this aso oke, they talk about Buba, iro, Gele, Iborun. The yorubas around the world put on this cloth and it's widely known among the yorubas and they rock the cloths during events and this makes them looks stunny.
