Experience & Exposure; The Influence, Internally and Externally.

After reading this post by @selfhelp4trolls I decided to buttress his stances. The fact that we are social animals means we often tend to depend on each other for exposure, experience and of course validation. In life, we generally become creative, innovation and unique not on our own accord, but by first experiencing the impact of other people upon our lives.

It is why people can totally do things that they're not originally expected to do. When we're exposed to situations, things, lifestyle, culture, people and so many others. We often tend to flatter ourselves by discovering how much we can accomplish simply by getting exposed. It is through exposure that people can form or coin their identity, their modus operandi and their way of life. Sometimes being exposed to others can be impactful either negatively or positively.

This doesn't mean we lose our original self. We're born blank, no memory, no predestined attitude, no lifestyle, no culture. But then the people, society we're exposed to, helps us build a personality, from infancy, we mold who we are by following a path, putting up our perceptive filter to work and this is we form the experience that makes us utterly unique. When people say they're unique, it isn't born from their innate or inborn abilities.

In fact we're more of what our external environment makes us, more than what our internal environment makes of us. Who we are within filters the external force trying to influence us, we generally do not pick up everything, we chose what we want to adopt and drop the ones we do not and this is how we tend to weigh ourselves, our capabilities and the ability to make choices.

Whether we're exposed to "good" or "bad", it influences us the same. Sometimes we might be resilient, but at the end of the day, "what, who or where" we're exposed to, generally has a way of showing in how we talk, how we think, how we speak or how we should act. Being unique is specifically embracing an aspect of the diverse things we're exposed to. For example, I'm someone who pays attentions to details and this is because of experiencing a lot of failure while I was younger and how it has also affected my life.

This has attracted me to people who are consistent. See, everyone and anyone can fail, sometimes the only way I mitigate the possibility of failure is trying to recognize it earlier on and tackle it. Because of my antecedent, I try as much as possible to redefine my life, I look at consistent people and how they tend to give their lives different meanings.

Being exposed to consistent people helped me to build a framework, a model and a structure of whom I'll like to be, their ideologies are often reflectant on so many aspects of my life and this is why I believe that exposure is the greatest impact in the life of a person. Take a look at hive. It has become the most important institution in my life, and this is because its impact has played a major role in the person I have become.

This might generally be different from another person. A lot of my financial decisions have mirrored or reflected the knowledge I have gathered from so many people here. They've become a foundation through which I have build a standing. This is why we need to have an origin to actually showcase our abilities to be intelligent, brilliant or even mind-blowing.

This also extends to content creating. Content is continuous, this means an idea births another idea. Opinion and stance is what results into innovations, without an idea being conceptualized it might not become a full-blown success which should be relatable to all. People showcase creativity by being exposed to an already made idea. It's why engagement with people who have vast ideas brings out the best in us.

Engagement in general term is gotten when people tend to weigh in their thoughts on our content, maybe it's video or written. These thoughts can further educate us or even gives us further ideas, it does the same as however is being exposed to the knowledge we have to share. One way or another, it's a cyclical process and no matter what, exposure teaches and enlightens us even when we might not notice.

Thanks to you and @starstrings01 for you support and encouragement

Stick around as well, you'd definitely learn a whole lot from people here, especially when your goals align with theirs. Thanks for dropping by.

It's probably under reported but yea everything has influence on people. It's probably why mental health has deteriorated with people chasing after social media platforms. As the algorithm keeps sending them content, their views just keep warping.

As the algorithm keeps sending them content, their views just keep warping.

Social media content is largely unhealthy, I doubt it hardly motivate people, it rather puts them under pressure if you ask me. However take a look at a place as hive, realistic and all, it's made be a better thinker overtime.

I read this piece... Exposure, experience and lifestyle is just a cycle. And from all these, it has buttress my stance to be cautious with exposure.

Exposure is inevitable though, but to some extent, we can control what we're exposed to, because it Influence, either rightly or wrongly, it eventually does.

Yes o I know what have experience after joining

Well, I think I agree to what you said 'exposure is the greatest impact in one's life' When you get exposed you can learn new things, and share few things. Great write up.

See? You proved my point while proving your point, and I already proved your point and will probably prove your point again at some time.
