ampesi with garden egg sauce
Ghana has one of the greatest cultural values in the world, compared to many other nations. Our culture is firmly defined, with a beauty that beyond comparison. From our language, cuisine, clothing, and many other aspects. We take great delight in the details of our everyday existence. I'm so pleased to tell you about one of the few things that make Ghana such a beautiful place to live. This must be one of the reasons you want to try Ghanaian cuisine whenever you have the opportunity.
I offer to you "Ampesi," a ghanaian dish. It is a popular native dish among the majority of people in the nation. Ampesi is a simple dish to make. I honestly prefer ampesi produced at home than those made elsewhere. This does not make home-made ampesi superior than those produced at restaurants and other establishments. In its preparation, ampesi may take several distinct forms.
However, ampesi may be made using yams, plantains, cocoyams, or even cassava. I'd always like my ampesi in the shape of yams and plantains. It is easily prepared by simply cooking any of the selected tubers. You're ready to go after the yams or plantains are thoroughly cooked. It is served with any sauce or soup of one's choice. Some people serve it with kontonmire stew, tomato sauce, or even garden eggs sauce. I don't mind eating my ampesi with any kind of stew or sauce.

People often prefer to serve their fried ampesi with eggs or avocado. On a hot, hectic day like today, a well-made ampesi with kontonmire sauce would wont be bad for my use. These are photos of several cooked ampesi with various sauces. I am pleased not only to offer a ghanaian dish, but also to demonstrate a part of ghanaian culture to the rest of the globe. For visitors, Ghana is one African country where they would love every bite of their cuisine. Thank you for stopping by today.

So 😋 yummy, I'm famished just by looking at those beautiful pictures with Ampesi. My favorite is the yam with cocoyam leaves stew and "Koobi" or Tilapia. One of the best foods we have in Ghana, thanks for sharing Sam
