Welcome to my blog
Ayyappa is one of a major Hindu festival which is specially celebrated in the southern part of of India. The name of the festival Ayyappa is also spelled as Ayyappan or Aiyappan in different different places. It is is believed that the Ayyappa was a God of strength, courage, self-control and celibacy
The name Ayyappa is derived from AYYAN and APPAN both meaning FATHER God Ayyappa is considered as son of of a Mohini and Shiva where Mohini is female from God Vishnu as different different peoples used to live in India from different different cultures and there are too many festivals which were celebrated in India Ayyappa is also a very popular festival which is very populary celebrated in the state of Kerala by the members of all communities
As you can see in the picture that there were too many people presented in the temple to worship the God Ayyappa who is is a God of strength courage self control and celibacy everyone presented here is belongs to the family of BSF personnel because this temple is situated in the BSF campus one of the most lovable things which I personally love about the family of BSF personnel is that they celebrate each and every festival together like a family member it doesn't matter it is a festival of of Northern ,Eastern ,western or southern part of India community each and every festival are very well celebrated in the BSF campus and everyone take part in each and every festival with full of joy and happiness
This is the front side of the temple and you can see that even the plants entries were decorated with the help of lights and all this decoration is performed by the BSF personnel and you can also see the the crowd which is presented in the front of the temple to celebrate this festival together BSF stands for Border Security Force this is one of the most important and Powerful force presented in India whose work is to prevent the borders lines and areas of India from the militants and provide a peaceful environment for the living of Indian citizens without them you cannot even think of a freedom of living which we were living right now
Here you can see that this beautiful rangoli which is handmade and made up with the help of flowers Rangoli is considered as a symbol of happiness love and prosperity in our Indian culture before any festival any type of initiative aur any good work we used to make rangoli which is made up of flowers or some time it is made up of colours which is not harmful for the nature or environment
Rangoli is very much popular in our Indian culture as I mentioned about and it is said that with the change of colour design and formation of Rangoli the vibrations of Rangoli is also changed and making of Rangoli is so much common and important nowadays so for that reason the the booklets and several resources of rangoli design presented on the internet you can search it on Google and find different different designs of Rangoli for different different occasions
Now after completing the Ayyappa Gayatri Mantra the aarti is performed in the temple Aarti is one of the most important part of DEVOTION which is performed after the competition of the devotion the reason and purpose of performing the Aarti is intention for respecting the deities in humbleness and gratefulness
And now finally we get the Prasad from the temple which is a form of blessings from the God each and everyone present in the temple is willing and waiting to get the Prasad because in our Indian culture it believes that after consuming the Prasad the devotion is completed
the plate of Parshad contains
- A mixture of stuff which is full of protein and immunity boosting ingredients and that is the brown colour food which is presented in the plate
- boiled rice with fresh green vegetables in Indian language it is known as sambar
- one piece of papad which is used to enhance the crispy Ness of the food
Decorating something is really very impressive as you can see in the picture that is a simple tree which is decorated with the help of light and it became a mode of attraction for many of the peoples who are there to visit in the temple for worshipping the Ayyappa God
