The No Smoking Train... 100 Days Aboard!

in Cross Culture โ€ข 4 years ago (edited)

Good afternoon, little Bees! ๐Ÿ

Last Saturday I've reached another important milestone: 100 days without smoking!

Oddly enough, quitting smoking wasn't as difficult for me as it seems to be for most people. After I set up my mind to it, it became quite normal not to smoke... a habit, even. ๐Ÿ˜Š

The first 30 days were the most difficult ones. Now I think I can say I'm beyond all of that... smoking is no longer a thing. I don't even think about buying a pack of cigars anymore.

That chapter... is officially closed.

My health is starting to improve. However, I did gain a bit of weight... smoking is definitely unhealthy but it keeps you thin. (Or thinner, at least.) It looks like I'll need to exercise more to reduce my belly. ๐Ÿคฃ

My belly wasn't the only thing that got fat. Since I've stopped smoking my wallet is a bit more fat, too. It's ridiculous how much a smoker wastes on all that crap. Now, instead of cigars I can buy Bitcoin! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

That's all for now... If you are planning on quitting smoking, the main trick is: stop buying cigars. After you do that, not smoking becomes a lot easier.

Congratulations! Really happy for you! :)

I quit cigarettes too but I'm still down with nicotine. I vape now and hope to quit that too soon :)

Congratulation again and well done on stacking up them bitcoins with the extra cheese ๐Ÿคฃ
Wish you the best! ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ’ฏ

Thanks a lot! I thought about vaping but then I read it wasn't very different from smoking, so I didn't follow up on that.

I hope you can quit, too...

It was real tough for me. Can't think of the last time I had a cigar... 5 years at least. And I still think about them regularly.

Congratulations dude.

5 Years!!! Wow, you're way ahead of me! Congrats! ๐Ÿ˜†

They're tough. You're doing great sir!

Good for you. Congratulations. Cold turkey and a firm resolve to stop is the best way to kick the habit. I used to be a one and a half packer a day. Two or more when I go out drinking with buddies. And after smoking for 22 years I quit and have not smoked a single stick for 33 years running.

Damn!!! 33 years and you're still counting it? Ahahahha! ๐Ÿคฃ
Well done!

I never smoked that much. A pack would last me for a week or two.

Wow, congrats my friend! This is a very good achievement! Just don't start again, ever!

Thanks... and that's the plan! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Great to hear. Congratulations and let it stay that way!

Thank you very much! Now, if I would could spend that money travelling... ๐Ÿ™„

Well done amte - I still am not able to get rid of that smoking shit

You need to stop buying them! ๐Ÿคฃ

nice one @trincowski

I am so happy for you, congratulations! This is probably one of the best thing you can do for yourself.

Haha ๐Ÿ˜‚ buying Bitcoin instead of cigarettes is quite the motive for any crypto enthusiast, the only thing that i need now is the Will power not to quit but to buy btc through quitting smoking.
Thanks for sharing buddy and well done โœ…

You're right. It's more difficult to buy BTC at these prices than to quit smoking! ๐Ÿคฃ

Congratulations my friend, keep the streak going. For me, when I quit many years ago, all cravings and fears of being around smokers dissipated after about 4 months. Within 6 months I actually began to dislike the smell of second-hand smoke.

Thanks. I'm getting there... 4 months have passed already! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Congrats my man keep it going!!!

Thanks a lot!

Thanks for quitting to smoke. It use to be difficult thing but I appreciate you for not allowing it control your life. God bless you.

Thank you very much. I had thought about quitting several times. This time I actually did it. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Congrats man.. I bet it's really hard. But long term your health will benefit

That's the goal... and also to improve the health of my bank account! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Congratulations on your epic achievement! @trincowski๐Ÿ‘

Even a few pounds of extra weight is way better than all the harmful effects and damage cigarettes causes.

Enjoy your fat wallet!๐Ÿ’ฐ๐Ÿ’ธ

Thank you very much! Even though... I think I got fat more because of the covid restrictions than because of stop smoking. ๐Ÿคฃ
