I think I saw a video by @davidpakman like before Trump was even elected saying Trump doesn't understand how tariff's work

he obviously doesn't. The message has been:

1. All the International companies with factories are going to come here, make everything in America

2. All the International companies with factories are going to pay taxes to sell everything here.

The two ideas contradict each other. This without mentioning that its the people who pay for the extra.

All he did was raise taxes. And the MAGAts are celebrating.

The funny part is that the man who brought Trump and Vance into office is the man who stays the most hidden behind the scene. All these people up front of this game are just the circus clowns, Navarro, Hegseth, the head of the FBI that looks kuku, while the person who is the most detrimental and has invested millions upon millions into the Trump and Vance rise, is Peter Thiel. Thiel gave Trump one hundred million to run his first campaign. More than likely the one hundred million that Trump said he had to run his campaign leaving him beholding to nobody. That's rather problematic because Trump lived off the borrowed dime against his assets and was forty hundred and eighty five million in debt leveraging those assets. Thiel was a friend of Trump's son, Don Jr. Another interesting tid bit is that Thiel, along with Musk, are part of DARPA. So was Trump's uncle, John Trump. All three were part of an exclusive group within DARPA that even presidents don't have access to top government projects being done there. When Trump makes remarks like "weapons the world has never known before", he doesn't equate that to anything he may have heard from Thiel or Musk, he equates that as having knowledge from stories his uncle told him. The likelihood, in my opinion, that back in the 1950's the US had weapons the likes the world has never known before, is not quite factual and if the real truth was known, it's more likely he heard about them from two people who weren't suppose to share that knowledge with him. Now, that's just an opinion of mine, doesn't hold any weight or proof, just a bit more common sensical. As such, is why no one is willing to step up to what's really going on.
Now, JD Vance, he met Thiel at a University where Thiel was giving a speech at a conference. Vance claims he was totally smitten by Thiel. Vance, along with his college friend, Vivek Ramaswamy, struck up a lasting friendship with Thiel. Thiel went onto hire writers for Vance's book, Hillbilly Elegy, and paid to have it published, he also upstarted Vance into an investment firm. He paid fifteen million for Vance's run in Ohio. Vivek, not that I read anywhere where Thiel helped him out, but Vivek went on to be the holder of the failed big pharma patent for the LNP that went into the covid vaccine. Vivek would buy these "junk" patents from big pharma, set up off shore studies, take on investors while securing his investment behind his own investment firm, Roivent, when the studies failed again, investors lost out while he made millions.
Right after Trump's first run, Mark Zuckerburg went to the white house, that was followed up by a private dinner a couple months later with Zuckerburg and Thiel. Thiel, Zuckerburg and Musk, has always been through prior business ventures, tied at the hip. One man, Thiel, was responsible for the rise of Trump, one, Zuckerburg, for the fall of Trump, and Musk, the rise of Trump again.
All that, lol, just to tell you that ten minutes into this video, you'll see Thiel saying that bringing jobs back to the US would be inflationary, instead, there are five billion people in this world that make less money than the people in China, he uses Vietnam as an example, that the jobs could go there, and sucks to be the US and China, but great for Vietnam he goes on to say.
I suggest watching the whole video, you'll catch things he says that are relevant to similar situations playing out now. But in particular, as I don't just watch a video, I also pay very close attention to body language, when they later on in the video start talking about what to do about student loan debt, he goes on to say that, instrumentally, that the last generation that benefited from going to college, was the baby boomers, as they start to move forward aging and passing away, that will bring some closure in regards to college being a benefit....now here's where you got to watch his face, he turns toward the camera, not necessarily deliberate, and he says, "if we could help that along" and does a half smirk. Hence, again, only in my opinion, which doesn't mean anything other than I am body language watcher, and a dot connector, we have Vivek and his failed LNP vaccine. Just sayin.

I had to come back to this from a comment you made about owning the libs. In order to own something, somebody had to have already owned or produced it for another to have access to owning it. Those producers were standing behind Trump on inauguration day, and hidden somewhere behind them is Thiel. The blue dog democrats, before the republicans could owned the democrats, they had to have owned the democrats.

There's a George Carlin quote I absolutely love. Too long to memorize, so I have it saved up in a file. It's my reset button so to speak.

They don’t want that. You know what they want? They want obedient workers. Obedient workers, people who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork. And just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it, and now they’re coming for your Social Security money. They want your retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street, and you know something? They’ll get it. They’ll get it all from you sooner or later 'cause they own this fucking place. It’s a big club, and you ain’t in it. You and I are not in the big club. By the way, it’s the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. All day long beating you over the head with their media telling you what to believe, what to think and what to buy. The table is tilted, folks. The game is rigged and nobody seems to notice.
