You know what they say. (A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work.) X-ray vision sure would come in handy. You would be able to see what the fish were biting on.
Some of the best trout fishing I've ever done was in the Snake River in Wyoming. The Cutthroat Trout were there for the taking, most weighing between 2 to 4 pounds. Their meat was pink and dipping it in butter, you thought you were eating lobster.
There are no words to describe the natural beauty of that place where my friend went fishing, being surrounded by nature like this must be a unique and unmatched sensation. I hope you had a lot of fun and of course get a good catch
Thanks for taking us on such a relaxing outing with you. This was a nice departure for a city boy like me. The furthest west I've been was the Windy City when I was in Navy boot camp. Colorado is on the bucket list, and I hope to cross it off someday. :)
What a beautiful water for fishing! I never fish trout, as we don't have them a lot in the lake where I go fishing... We have mostly carp, which is also great... not complaining...

I used to catch fish with my wheel in school days, right now remembering those old and gold days after seeing your post. Spending some fresh quality time in the lap of Nature is the best we can gift to ourselves.

I am just a few years off of your age but my eyes are already starting to get crappy. It sucks too because before I had, as you say in the video 'eyes of an eagle'.
Looks like a blast out there fishing, man! A stark contrast to the city life here...
God bless you're Bald Eagle vision!! Ha ha, and one step away from xray vision eh!! Good man. I have only been fishing maybe ten times ever, but always enjoyed, other than the couple of times that I caught nothing after six hours, I found that to suck very badly, I guess the fact that it was freezing cold didn't help!
I have an old work colleague who would love to have a chat with you, he is mad into fishing. He has even done a couple of survival trips to Canada where they spend two weeks on the river self sufficient fishing for fresh salmon as they go. It sounded amazing, I loved listening to his stories about it.
Hello @broncnutz. Nice video. Natural with no pretense. A professional film crew is not needed in my opinion. What you have there and how you present it is in good, relaxed atmosphere. I like the way you explain what you're using as bait. The images of the blue rippling water provokes a calming effect for me. I love being around beaches and water. But living on the Gulf Coast of Texas only allows for murky waters.
We haven't been able to travel much in our RV, but hope to resume that activity after the winter months.
Just wanted to stop by and say "thanks for supporting my content." I appreciate it as I love short fiction writing.
Take care and have a wonderful time on your next outing.

How good that is for you, friend, to be in nature and also to do activities which I imagine you like a lot.
I haven’t been fishing in years. I miss it, think I’m gonna have to dust off my fly rod and tie up some new flies….
I also went in the same way with my friends few days back and had a lot of fun catching fish and cooking it myself at night.
Have wonderful day ahead of you, beside that you are a true fishing lover and always looking forward for it.
Wow. What beautiful nature. Do you have a pet fox?

No bear around there, though, huh?
Nice catch by the way... It's long time since I caught a trout. I will try some catfish fishing soon.
