We tried to do every activity available to us in 1 day, but it was just too many things. So we went into a second day. It all turned out to be a great few days for us. Getting out into the day and both competing and working together as a family. Nice to spend these days together and also get in some grandma time.
After all these adventures, now we go on an even cooler adventure to #hivefest in Split,Croatia.
We are looking forward to taking this same vigor into our time in Split. We are gonna do everything on offer and then some. Our flight to Split is just a day away now. We are in the UK now. Sooo close on the #roadtohivefest

Is it difficult living so far from family? Just curious. See ya in Split.
It has been harder on my wife, Guatemala is a long way from her family in the UK. For me it is a 3 hour flight that is often not to expensive, so easier to get back for visits.
But honestly while I’ve had brief moments of homesickness or desire to be around old friends. I go back and often the culture feels so distant and separated. Everyone zooming around each other with little time to just sit and talk calmly.
Where we live in Guatemala, life is slow, we walk everywhere and I have meaningful friendship’s.
So beyond occasional flickers of nostalgia toward the old times and holiday gatherings… I don’t find it so difficult to be far from family.
